Dominguez of Brooklyn, New York via Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic has perfect mark of 7-0 with five knockouts and the twenty-five year old has taken out his last five opponents within three rounds. In his last bout, Dominguez stopped undefeated Gabriel Gomez in three rounds at the Cordon Bleu on March 4th. Atlantic City (June 23, 2011) - The newly crowned NABO middleweight champion Patrick "The Machine" Majewski received a special decree from the city of Atlantic City last week for his triumphant performance against Marcus Upshaw on June 11 at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Mississippi. Majewski, who is unbeaten at 17-0 (11 KO), is a native of Radom, Poland but relocated to America ten years ago at the age of 21 and began boxing out of the Atlantic City PAL with trainers Bill Johnson and Arnold Robbins. Majewski is promoted by Global Boxing Promotions. The decree from the city council, which is dated June 15, 2011, reads: "Whereas; the relentless, non-stop attack proudly allowed him to capture the title belt and go down in history as the new NABO Middleweight Champion of the World; and "Whereas, Patrick's hard work, determination and devotion to the sport of boxing have paid off and are an inspiration to many. Henny Wallitsch, Paulette Balog, Bobby Bartels, Tony DiPippo, Joe Dwyer, Tommy Gallagher, Henry Hascup, Jack Hirsch, John Labate, Vinnie Maddalone, Lenny Mangiapane, Tony Mazzarella, Frank Pena and David Yatkowitz.President Bob Duffy talked on our recent Amateur Boxing Show that was held at the Plattduetsche. Even with the rain and only 3 bouts, Ring 8 came out with a profit of $2600. Duiffy thanked Joe Dwyer, who brought over 50 people, and Frank Pena, who worked the show. The next night on ESPN, Teddy Atlas talked about it and promoter Gary Shaw gave a 10% discount to all the boxers that were scheduled to box on the show. HARTFORD (June 18, 2011) – Youth defeated experience tonight as red-hot welterweight prospect Javier “El Chino” Flores extended his perfect record to 6-0 with six knockouts, stopping 30-fight veteran Shakha Moore in the seventh round of the main event on “The New Generation Boxing Series” card, presented by Bulldog Cartel Promotions, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Flores (6-0, 6 KOs), a southpaw from Puerto Rico now fighting out of Hartford, was dominant from the opening round.
