(Feb. 8, 2012) – Elvin Ayala felt the excitement the moment he found out he’d be fighting Hector Camacho Jr. next month on national television. “I started getting goose bumps,” he said. February 7, 2012 - Hot Puerto Rican prospect, Thomas Dulorme (13-0, 10 KOs), was scheduled to face Jose Reynoso (15-3-1, 2KOs) on ShoBox February 17, but will have to find another opponent due to a hip injury suffered by Reynoso while training in California. Charlie Perez, manager of Reynoso, informed Gary Shaw that Jose was taken to the emergency room where his hip was popped back into place after the doctor told him that he had a hip contusion. Reynoso left the hospital in crutches. Gary Shaw went on to say, "It's unfortunate that Reynoso will have to pull out of this fight. I know it must have been a serious injury for him to do so. Los Angeles (Feb. 6, 2012) - An IBF Elimination bout that was scheduled to take place between John Molina Jr. and Marvin Quintero was recently called off and replaced by a junior welterweight attraction between Mike "The Silent Assassin" Dallas Jr. and Miguel "Silky Smooth" Gonzalez, that will take place February 17, and air on ESPN "Friday Night Fights." The ESPN telecast will represent the first ever boxing event held at University of Texas at Arlington's brand new College Park Center, which opened its doors this past December. The state of the art 6,200 seat stadium is home to UTA's Mavericks men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams. MIAMI (February 6, 2012) - Undefeated middleweight prospect Michael "The Brazilian Rocky" Oliveira will make his Canadian boxing debut this Saturday night (Feb. 11) on an explosive card, presented by United Promotions in association with Hennessy Sports, at Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The exciting 21-year-old Oliveira (16-0, 12 KOs), rated No. 14 by the World Boxing Council ("WBC"), will fight Sergei "Baltic King" Melis (18-7, 7 KOs) in an eight-round Special Middleweight Attraction.
