Wow! It seems like January is the month for many of the great to be born. When those fighters' popses [$??] were hitting it in April, they were not April fooling around.. Hehe! Holla!

Hopkins should create a seniors or "masters" league where athletic gentlemen like himself can box exhibitions until they're 65 years old... There will be more aliens visiting us as more and more athletes learn the benefits of eating and training properly. Speaking of exhibitions I just caught an old vintage video of Sugar Shane Mosely boxing Shaq in an exhibition that seemed like it turned into a real fight at times...craziest thing I've seen in a while

Wow. Just when you thought you've seen everything... Favorite moments: Dedham Freddie: use your jab... Shaq: Nah, I'll just pin him against the ropes and take his head off with my forearm (!) Also, look on Shaq's face when the decision was announced. Big man doesn't like to lose... @Radam: is this what you had in mind with your comments on tall boxers?

Maybe you can say that. Holla at my put-up video of the late, great Smokin' Joe Frazier on another Thread. At the end of his video observed how preferred to fight much taller fighter and giant. Man, they are easy breezy. It is a d@mn myth about them having advantage because of reach and length. GOAT Ali would've bloody murdered Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlin:

I see Hopkins fighting on as well at 50. I actually see him taking a fight in Philadelphia this spring, maybe even on Fox Sports, against a lower level opponent. This will allow him a fight in his hometown at 50 and to also gauge where he is at in his boxing career. If all goes well, I still think a fight with Stevenson is very possible for the end of the year. Stevenson can talk all he wants but does anyone really think after all the ducking he did this year that he wants to take on the likes of Kovalev or any other big name. Stevenson wants to milk this as long as possible facing less formidable foes collecting nice paydays. At age 50 and coming off losing every round to Kovalev, Stevenson may see Hopkins as easy pickings in an attention getting fight for what would probably be his biggest payday.

You might well be right about Stevenson ducking everybody, but all the fighters signed with tsAH look like they are ducking everybody ! I am going to give Stevenson the benefit of a doubt and I think he will fight Kovalev if allowed to !
