DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (November 14, 2013) – Rivalta Management, owned and operated by Henry Rivalta, has signed undefeated Dominican lightweight prospect Eudy Bernardo 17-0 (12 KO's) to an exclusive managerial contract.

“I am really pleased to sign this contract with Mr. Rivalta,” Bernardo said. “I know it is here in the U.S. where I must show my ability. We are working very hard in the gym to be ready to fight at any moment.”

The 26-year-old Bernardo has been training the past six weeks at Iron Mike Productions gym, under the supervision of head coach, John David Jackson, and assistant Derick Santos.

“For now,” Jackson explained, “Eudy is working hard to stay near his fighting weight, so he is not doing the same workouts he will do when he has a fight date. His manager, Henry Rivalta, is looking for a fight for Bernardo.”

“Bernardo is undergoing a rigorous training schedule, including much physical labor and technical work,” Santos noted. “We are still evaluating him to improve his skills and provide tips to improve his chances in every fight.”

Bernardo's enthusiasm is evident in every training session, fully focusing on what he wants to do in terms of his career. “I have no time to waste,” he concluded. “My time is now and I must take advantage of all the facilities offered me by my representatives to be able to give my best for my family.”

PROVIDENCE (Nov. 14, 2013) – Two of New England's best and most popular boxers, “Irish” Joey McCreedy and Chris Traietti, will be fighting in the main event and co-feature, respectively, on the “Royale Rumble” card, presented by Big Six Entertainment, November 23 on a special Saturday afternoon card (5 p.m. ET start) at The Royale Nightclub Boston (formerly The Roxy).

McCreedy won a six-round split decision over Traietti back on January 1, 2008 at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Their separate Nov. 23rd fights may serve as a prelude to a possible rematch in 2014, although both fighters soon plan to move down in weight classes, McCreedy to super middleweight and Traietti to light heavyweight. They could, however, agree to meet at an agreeable catch-weight in what would be a major New England showdown.

McCreedy (14-6-2, 6 KOs), fighting out of the same hometown as “Irish” Micky Ward (Lowell, Mass.) and his trainer Dicky Eklund, takes on Nigerian light heavyweight Dennis Ogboo (7-7, 6 KOs) in the six-round headliner

Irag War veteran Traietti (14-3, 10 KOs), fighting out of nearby Quincy, meets Randy “The Rattler” Campbell (3-10, 2 KOs), in the eight-round co-feature. Traietti defeated Campbell 2 ½ years ago by way of a six-round majority decision.

Undefeated Lawrence (MA) heavyweight prospect Alexis Santos (11-0, 10 KOs) faces veteran Kevin Franklin (4-7, 1 KO) in a six-fight, while Lynn (MA) welterweight “Speedy” Rashidi Ellis (2-0, 1 KO) squares off with Oscar Diaz (0-2) in a four-rounder.

Also fighting in a rematch is Stoneham (MA) welterweight Greg Vendetti (4-0-1, 2 KOs) and Brockton's (MA) Antonio Chaves Fernandez (3-13-2) in a six-round rematch. They fought to a four-round draw this past July at the same venue.

Marshfield (MA) junior middleweight Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes (10-2, 1 KO) takes on “Notorious” Nicole Woods (11-2-2, 3 KOs) in a six-round battle of former world title challengers.

All fighters are subject to change.

Tickets, reasonably priced at $40.00, $50.00 and $75.00, are available to purchase by calling 1.617.312.5059.

LAS VEGAS, NEV (November 14, 2013) — Top Rank announced today it signed yet another blue chip 2012 Olympian — 2012 Olympic silver medalist ESQUIVA FALCÄO of Brazil. He will make his professional debut in early 2014.

Falcäo, 23, advanced to the Olympic finals as a middleweight, mowing down top international competition before losing to gold medalist Ryota Murata (also a Top Rank fighter) of Japan. It was the first time a Brazilian boxer ever reached an Olympic final.

“We are thrilled that Esquiva has joined Top Rank. He has so much talent and we look forward to letting that talent shine on an international stage,” said Todd duBoef, president of Top Rank. “Brazil boasts a robust media market and a rabid fan base. There is a reason why Brazil is hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics. We look forward to using those platforms in promoting Esquiva.”

The southpaw Falcäo joins a sterling list of Olympians already on Top Rank's roster, including gold medalists Zou Shiming of China, Vasyl Lomachenko of Ukraine, Murata, and Egor Mekhhontcev of Russia, and three other exciting prospects — American Jose Ramírez, Puerto Rican Felix Verdejo and Mexican Óscar Valdez — all of whom aspire to become Top Rank's next generation of world champions.
