BRONX, NEW YORK (August 8, 2011)—Fisticuffs promotions announced the signing of Jr. Welterweight contender Edgar “El Chamaco” Santana to a promotional contract.

Santana of Bronx, New York has a record of 25-3 with sixteen knockouts and has won four straight which is over a four year span.

Santana, thirty-two years old, turned pro in 1999 and went on to win twenty-one of his first twenty three bouts which included big victories over Francisco Campos (20-5-1); Meacher Major (12-2-1); Dairo Esales (30-6); Mike Gonzalez (10-2-1) and a career best victory over Josesito Lopez (22-2) in a bout that headlined a SHO BOX card on April 11, 2008.

Santana took a three year hiatus due to legal problems and with those out of the way, Santana is right back on the track to capturing a world title.

Santana returned to the ring with an explosive second round knockout over Robert Jones on May 5, 2011.

That win was especially impressive considering Jones was never stopped in his seventeen bouts.

Santana is one of the most popular ticket sellers in the competitive New York market and he owns and operates a popular Barber Shop in his native Spanish Harlem.

“Edgar Santana has always been one of the best prospects on the East Coast and I am happy we were able to work out a deal,” said Dave Escalet of Fisticuffs Promotions.

“Despite having that layoff, we feel that he is only a couple fights away from a significant fight that will put him in position for a world title.  He showed in his last fight that he is a force to be reckoned with and we plan to make those important fights happen for him”

Santana will be fighting for NABA Jr. Welterweight title on August 19th at Dover Downs in Dover, Delaware.

“The NABA title will get him in the rankings and he will be right there knocking on the door after he wins the fight”, continued Escalet.

“I am happy to make a deal with Fisticuffs”, said Santana’s manager Brian Cohen.

“We already have this big fight lined up so it’s only a matter of staying busy and Edgar will be fighting for the title”

Pound-for-Pound Boxing Queen Holly Holm

Preparing to establish ‘World Dominance’

Dec. 2 showdown vs. Anne Sophie Mathis at Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (August 4, 2011) – Boxing’s Pound-for-Pound Queen, Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm, has thoroughly exhausted the list of leading North American challengers, so her promoter, Lenny Fresquez (Fresquez Productions) looked across the Atlantic Ocean to challenge Europe’s premier boxer, French superstarAnne Sophie Mathis. Holm-Mathis will headline the “World Dominance” card on December 2 at Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque.

“My fight with Ann Sophie is going to be very tough,” Holly remarked. “She’s a tall fighter who uses her range. A fight like this definitely helps women’s boxing. I don’t want to be a paper champ and boxing fans don’t want to see one. On December 2nd they’ll see the top two rated women boxers in the world. My pride will be on the line because I’ve always believed you need to beat the best in order to be the best. I’ve never wanted easy fights. Winning a challenge like this makes it an even sweeter victory.”

Holm (30-1-3, 9 KOs) will be gunning to regain her IBA Welterweight title and WBAN Championship Belt in the 10-round main event against Mathis (23-1, 20 KOs), the WBO European Welterweight Champion. “World Dominance,” presented by Fresquez Productions, is a modern day match-up of contrasting female prizefighters, showcasing a consummate boxer (southpaw Holm) versus a knockout specialist (Mathis).

A multiple world champion in three different divisions (light welterweight, welterweight and light middleweight), Holly has defeated virtually all of the significant names of the past decade in women’s boxing from the 140 through 154-pound classes, including Christy Martin, Mary Jo Sanders, Mia St. John, Jane Couch, Duda Yankovich and Chevelle Hallback (twice). Holm is riding a 24-fight unbeaten streak, dating back to her only pro loss in 2004, when a serious cut under her eye prevented her from continuing to fight.

The 29-year-old Holm sports an amazing 20-0-1 (6 KOs) record in world title fights, in addition to a 14-0-1 mark versus world champions.

“There will always be somebody out there good to fight, maybe an up-and-comer or somebody overlooked” Holm said, “but I believe I’ve fought the best here but two European fighters (Mathis and Cecilia Braekhus) are good options for me. I haven’t fought either one, yet, and they’re both very good.

“Women are constantly trying to prove themselves to boxing fans. We put our heart into fighting each time we step in the ring. The top women fights are better than a lot of men’s fight on TV.”

Mathis, who will be fighting outside of Europe for the first time, is currently on a 22-fight, 16-year win skein, since she suffered her only pro loss in her second fight. She’s a two-time world light welterweight champion and Dec. 2 will mark the fifth anniversary of her first world title victory, in which she stopped previously unbeaten Myriam Lamare (13-0) for the WBA crown and vacant EBU championship. Ann Sophie’s victims also include world champions Couch, Yankovich, Ana Pascal and Nathalie Toro.

Holm is expected to fight WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight champion Cecilia ‘First Lady”Braekhus (18-0, 4 KOs) next year.

Karl Dargan Takes On Juan Suazo For UBO Inter-Continental Title

Top Rank in association with Peltz Boxing will present a fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Lightweight title on August 13 at the Grand Ballroom at Bally's Atlantic City between undefeated Karl Dargan and hard-punching Juan Suazo. Fox Sports will televise the show.

Philadelphian Dargan (9-0, 4 KOs) is trained by Nazim Richardson, and has so far shown great promise since turning pro in December 2007 with a victory over undefeated Roberto Norris at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In his latest fight, also at the MGM Grand, Dargan won a unanimous decision over the tough Randy Arrellin and is now ready to go for his first professional championship.

Juan “Nito” Suazo hails from Tucson, Arizona and brings a more modest 8-4-2 5 KOs) record into his career first title fight. But he has shown good form lately, and is coming off his two best results. On June 3 he scored a draw with 10-1 prospect Gabriel Tolmajyan, and on July 29 he beat Ramon Montano from Mexico. Montano holds a draw against Dmitriy Salita and a win over contender Americo Santos.

In the Main event super bantamweight Teon Kennedy will defend his North American Boxing Association (NABA) title in a scheduled 12-round contest against Alejandro Lopez, of Tijuana, Mexico. First fight will begin at 7.30 p.m.

Five additional fights complete the card. Tickets priced at $50 and $75 are on sale at the offices of Peltz Boxing Promotions (215-765-0922) and all Ticketmaster outlets (800-736-1420). They also can be purchased online at www.peltzboxing.com and www.Ticketmaster.com.

Lupo Likely To Meet Lo Greco PDF Print E-mail

Victor Lupo stalks Phil Lo Greco for Canadian Bragging Rights & more

TORONTO (August 3, 2011) – For the past year, rugged Romanian welterweight Victor Lupo has unsuccessfully stalked undefeated World Boxing Council (“WBC”) International Welterweight Champion Phil “The Italian Sensation” Lo Greco. His persistence will soon pay-off, though, as the WBC recently ordered promoters Hennessy Sports (Lupo) and OPI 2000 (Lo Greco) to negotiate an agreement or Lo Greco-Lupo will go to purse bid next month.

Lupo’simpressive victory 10-round decision for the vacant WBC International Silver title this past February, against former world champion Junior Witter (37-3-2), set the stage for a showdown between Lupo (19-1-2, 9 KOs) and Lo Greco (22-0,12 KOs).

It’s a natural fight because Lupo lives in Toronto and Lo Greco was born there. Much more than Toronto bragging rights will be on the line, however, including a potential world title shot for the winner. Lo Greco is rated No. 13 by the WBC, while Lupo’s ranked No. 22.

Lupo believes Lo Greco has been avoiding him. “The Italian Sensation” obviously hasn’t lived-up to his nickname, fighting only a pair of six-round bouts in Italy, since he captured the WBC International crown June 18, 2010 via a ninth-round knockout of Slawomir Ziemiewicz.

“This will be a crossroads fight for both guys with the winner positioned for a world title fight next year,” promoter Adam Harris (Hennessy Sports) commented. “Victor is convinced that Lo Greco is scared of him, which explains why making it happen has been so difficult. A fight like this will certainly draw the attention of the Canadian media, especially where both fighters are from Toronto. OPI 2000 (Italian promoters Salvatore and Christian Cherchi) hasn’t responded to our proposals but, if the fight goes to purse bid, we are committed to making a good offer to promote the show.”

The card, which will feature a number of both Golden Boy and Star Boxing prospects, will be broadcast live on TeleFutura's "Sólo Boxeo Tecate." Headlining the event will be Newark's fast-rising Puerto Rican prospect Michael "The Artist" Perez (13-0, 7KO's) squaring off against an opponent to be determined in a ten round lightweight match-up.

Also featured will be undefeated Bronx prospect Eddie Gomez (5-0, 4 KO's) who will see action in a six round bout against an opponent to be determined in the co-main event on "Sólo Boxeo Tecate."

Tickets, priced at $30, $50 and $100, are available for purchase by calling Star Boxing at (718) 823-2000 or visiting www.starboxing.com Tickets may also be purchased through any Ticketmaster outlet or by visiting the Paradise Theater Box Office, or by calling the Paradise Theater at (718) 220-1015.

"We are excited to return to the Bronx to co-promote the August 19 'Sólo Boxeo Tecate' show with Star Boxing for the great boxing fans of New York," said Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. "In the main event, we have a very talented, young, undefeated fighter in Michael Perez, who always attracts his loyal New York-area fan base to see his thrilling all-action boxing style. We are also proud to bring Bronx prospect Eddie Gomez home to fight in front of his hometown fans for the first time in his professional career."

"When we first announced the upcoming dates for our 'Punchin at the Paradise' series, we announced that we had one roaming date. We envisioned putting on another show at some point this summer, so we are very happy we now have the opportunity to not only put on another terrific show right here in the Bronx, but also to have Golden Boy on board with us," stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and President of Star Boxing. "Our concept behind the series is to bring entertaining fights and cards right here to the Bronx. Not only have we been able to produce that with our two past shows this year (May and July) but the success of those shows enabled us to be able to put on what promises to be yet another exciting card at the Paradise Theater on Friday August 19."

This will not be the first time the two promotional companies have worked together on a card at the Paradise Theater, as this will be August the second consecutive year in which the two promotional companies have teamed up to co-promote an event at the Paradise live on TeleFutura's "Sólo Boxeo Tecate."

The night of world-class professional boxing is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Star Boxing and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate, DeWalt Tools and AT&T. Doors open at 7:00pm ET and first fight begins at 7:30pm ET. TeleFutura's "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" will be broadcast at 11:30pm ET / PT (10:30pm CT).

Fans at home can also be part of the action by participating in Cinturón Tecate and voting for the fighter in the main event who displays the most character in the ring by sending a text message to 55333. Voting will be open through the end of the weekend.

At just 21-years-old, Michael Perez is considered one of the top prospects in the lightweight division. After winning the 2008 National Golden Gloves, Perez turned professional that same year, stopping Leon Williams in the first round in his home state of New Jersey. Perez is coming off of a third round technical knockout over Ira Terry (24-4, 14KO's at the time) in his last bout in May of this year. Perez expects to have a large contingent of fans make the trip over from New Jersey to the Bronx, as this is his first fight in the States since November of last year with his last three fights taking place in Puerto Rico, including one of the best fights of 2010 in which he won an eight round war against Jose Hernandez on December 10.

Six days before his 19th birthday, teenage phenom Eddie Gomez will get an early present as he gets to fight in his hometown for the first time as a professional. A stellar amateur who has brought his talent, speed and power to the junior middleweight division as a professional, Gomez has impressed all who have seen him thus far, and with three first round knockouts on his record already, he's also delivered a jolt of fear to his prospective opponents.

Tecate, cerveza con carácter, is the largest beer brand to sponsor boxing matches in the U.S. Part of its commitment to make boxing accessible to consumers is the title sponsorship of "Sólo Boxeo Tecate," which creates an opportunity for local fans to witness some of the most exhilarating fights by today's up-and-coming prospects.  Additionally, Tecate has been a primary supporter of Golden Boy Promotions' marquee events since 2007, and has launched a variety of initiatives to ensure consumers are part of the boxing experience, including boxer autograph signing sessions, commemorative cans, PPV mail-in rebate offers, and most recently the launch of a mobile museum "Tecate Museo de Boxeo," which showcases decades of the most memorable moments in the sport.

Maurice Harris Beats Rossy, Hopes To Be Back In Big Picture PDF Print E-mail

Maurice Harris back in heavyweight picture

NEW YORK (July 20, 2011) – USBA heavyweight champion Maurice “Sugar Moe” Harris’ often tumultuous boxing career is back in a good place, after he redeemed himself last Saturday in Atlantic City, when he stopped Derric “The Shaolin Fist” Rossy in the 12thround at Resorts Casino Hotel.

Harris (25-15-2, 11 KOs) was coming off of a disappointing loss by third round to Tony “The Tiger” Thompson (36-2, 24 KOs) in May, shown live on ESPN Friday Night Fights in their IBF Box-Off.

Rossy (25-5, 14 KOs), rated No. 15 by the IBF, served as a litmus test for Harris, a 35-year-old whose major claim to fame is winning the 2002 Thunderbox Heavyweight Tournament, defeating Thompson in the $100,000 finale, as well as defeating world champion Sergei Liakhovich. The New Jersey fighter found himself at the crossroads once again, facing possible retirement if he lost to Rossy, the former Boston College football standout who had previously defeated WBO champion and 1988 Olympic gold-medal winner Ray Mercer (DEC12) and world title challenger Carl David Drummond (DEC10).

“I never looked at the fight like that,” Harris said, “only as another challenge, another fight. I don’t focus on something like that (in a career-ending fight) because I always need to focus on my opponent and our fight. I did show resiliency when I needed to win. It was a good win, one of my top five, but I was only about 70-percent of what I can really be. I hadn’t been 12 rounds since last August. I was still a little rusty. You can do that (12 rounds) in the gym but it’s not the same as in a fight. I did feel good going into the fight and afterwards.”

Harris dropped Rossy in the sixth, led by two rounds going into the 12th, and finished the show in impressive style. The veteran had worn-down Rossy and eventually trapped his tiring opponent on the ropes in the 12th, decking him again with a three-punch combination, an overhand right to the chin serving as an exclamation point. Rossy got to his feet but Harris moved in to finish him, backing Derec onto the ropes again, and unloading a four-punch combination against his defenseless opponent. Referee Earl Morton halted the action at 1:35 of the final round.

“This fight proved that Maurice’s last one was a fluke.” Harris’ promoter Mario Yagobi (Boxing 360) commented. “He couldn’t respond right after getting hit with so many illegal hits behind the head. I said that before this fight and still believed in Maurice. He was the stronger, bigger guy who showed a lot more skills than his opponent. Rossy came to win. He was in great shape, at 225 pounds, and had a six-pack stomach. Maurice showed his experience, dropping him the sixth, and finishing with a 12th round knockout. Rossy was banged up; his face had a lot of bruises and welts. From the eighth or ninth round, he looked like a beaten fighter.”

“The last two rounds were my strongest,” Harris noted. “I caught my second wind. I knew one good assault would close the deal. I hadn’t had a knockout in a long time (2002 vs. Liahkovich). I thought I had him out in the sixth, but he stayed right in there until the last round. I hit him with some good combinations. He fell and got up, but I knew he was finished.

“The Thompson fight is still in the back of my head. We’ve both won once and I’d like a third fight to settle things. I won’t get over it until we do. I wish him luck in his fights but, even if it’s sparring, I want to fight him again. He didn’t fight the best Maurice Harris but, then again, neither did Rossy.”

Because Harris, rated No. 9 by the IBF, fought an optional defense against Rossy, Maurice has a mandatory coming up against a challenger to be determined. Chazz Witherspoon is the No. 1 rated IBF challenger, followed in order by Steve Collins, Cedric Boswell, Antonio Tarver and Michael Grant.

Other members of Boxing 360’s stable include WBC #5 super bantamweight Leon “Hurry Up” Moore, former IBF super middleweight champion Alejandro “Naco” Berrio, unbeaten welterweight prospect Vitaliy “Demyan”Demyanenko WBC Caribbean & NY State super middleweight champion Lennox “2 Sharpe” Allen, Dominican lightweight champion Eudy “AK47” Bernardo, KO king Tyrone Brunson, heavyweight Mike Mollo, unbeaten NABF featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano, Nick “Hands of Gold” Casal, middleweight prospect DonYil Livingston, Joel Diaz Jr., and “King”David Estrada.

DeGuardia Quotes Before Saturday Show PDF Print E-mail

Earlier today, Star Boxing held the final press conference for their upcoming "Knock Out Cancer" boxing benefit at the Hunts Point Produce Market Saturday, July 23rd to benefit the American Cancer Society. In attendance at the presser, which was held at the Produce Market itself, were members of both the American Cancer Society and the Hunts Point Market, as well as Main Event participant, undefeated heavyweight prospect, Joe "The Future" Hanks, who will be fighting Alfredo Escalera Jr. for the IBA Heavyweight Championship, and Alicia Ashley, who will be fighting for the WBC Female Super Bantamweight Championship of the World, in the co-feature bout of the evening.

Joe DeGuarda kicked off the presser, thanking everyone for coming out, and once again touching on how important and special this event on Saturday night is going to be.

"So many people throughout the entire world are somehow effected by this disease (both of DeGuardia's parents are cancer survivors), so that's what makes doing this event so special and so important to me, because it gives us an opportunity to not only be able to fight back and contribute, but it also helps us raise awareness, which as you know is the most important aspect in beating this deadly disease."

Speaking on behalf of the Hunts Point Produce Market was Coop Board Director, Joel Fierman.

"This event certainly wasn't the easiest to pull off, but as everything is coming together, we couldn't be more delighted to be a part of this great event. We at the market are always looking for ways to give back, and the event on Saturday night is a perfect example of that. We know that this is going to be an absolutely great night for all of us involved and we are just really looking forward to Saturday night."

Echoing DeGuardia and Fierman's statements was Yilda Guerrero, Director of Special Events for the American Cancer Society.

"I want to thank everyone who has been involved in making this event, a dream come true for me. This spectacular event is finally right around the corner and we couldn't be more excited."

Regarding the main event, DeGuardia added, "This is a huge fight for Joe. I, as many people do, see Joe as the future of the heavyweight division. I believe within the next 18 months you will see Joe challenging the Klitschko brothers for their heavyweight championships, but he must first take care of business on Saturday night."

"I'm very excited for Saturday night," stated Joe Hanks. "Not only is this a huge fight for me, and my first title fight, but being able to fight in the main event on this event is special to me being that my mom has been battling breast cancer for the past year. You combine those two elements together and it has really motivated and energized me for this fight. I encourage everyone to come out on Saturday night to see first-hand the future of the heavyweight division. Just please I ask

everyone, make sure to get their early, because I plan on making it an early night for Escalera."

Just like Hanks, Ashley stated she was honored to be a part of this great card, as the cancer disease has also directly effected her.

"It is a pleasure to be here and represent all the females in boxing on this show," stated Ashley. "This title shot has been a long-time coming for me, and I don't plan on letting it pass me by. I am the first female New Yorker fighting for the WBC title right here in NY. If that was not enough motivation for me, I also plan on dedicated this fight to my Aunt who is a breast cancer survivor."

"Knock Out Cancer" will take place Saturday, July 23rd at the Hunt Point Produce Market, which is located at 772 Edgewater Road, Bronx, NY 10474. Tickets to this special event are priced at $50, $75 and $100 and can be purchased by calling Star Boxing at (718) 823-2000 or visiting www.starboxing.com Tickets may also be purchased by calling the American Cancer Society at (718) 547- 5064 or visiting www.cancer.org For information regarding sponsorship packages call Yilda Guerrero with the American Cancer Society at (718) 547-5064, etc. 2101. Polish Ex Con Szpilka To Fight on Wach-McBride Undercard PDF Print E-mail
Written by The Sweet Science
Monday, 18 July 2011 21:55

NORTH BERGEN (July 18, 2011) - Undefeated Polish bad boy Artur Szpilka and trainer Fiodor Lapin arrived Monday afternoon from Poland at JFK International Airport to finish up training for his July 29 match on the Mariusz Wach-Kevin McBride undercard at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.,

The 22-year-old southpaw Szpilka (6-0, 4 KO) of North Bergen, NJ by way of Wieliczka, Poland will face David Williams (6-4-1, 2 KO) of Philadelphia, PA in a four-round heavyweight matchup on "Heat Wave," which is presented by Classic Entertainment and Sports and Global Boxing. Szpilka is co-promoted by Global Boxing and 12 Round Knockout Promotions.

Szpilka will be making his first appearance in an American boxing since July of 2009. Szpilka's career was interrupted in October of that year when he was arrested at the weigh-in for his match on the undercard of the battle between his countrymen Tomasz Adamek and Andrew Golota in Łódź, Poland.

Szpilka was charged for his role in a brawl between soccer hooligans supporting his team Wisla Krakow and bitter rivals Cracovia and sentenced to 18 months in jail.

"During that time, I realized just what I had lost and began to appreciate boxing more. I kept fit by doing pull-ups, pushups and lifting weights in prison, which helped me build up my upper body strength and punching power. Now I'm hungrier than ever before."

That power was on display when he made his ring return less than a month ago in Poland. Facing Ramiz Hadziaganovic - who entered with an 8-0 (7 KO)  record - Szpilka needed just :33 seconds to score the dramatic one-punch knockout in front of a sold-out crowd.

The Polish public enemy entered the ring wearing an orange prison jumpsuit and was escorted by models dressed as police officers in an homage to his life-changing experience. Expect Szpilka to be dressed similarly on July 29.

"I'm dedicating to this fight to all the people who I was locked up with in Poland. This fight is for them."

There will be a press conference this Thursday, July 21 at 1 P.M. at Global Boxing Gym in North Bergen to formally announce the card. Wach, McBride and Szpilka will all be in attendance.

For more information on Szpilka and "Heat Wave," visit www.globalboxing.com.

Tickets for “Heat Wave,” priced at $40, $65 and $105, can be purchased by calling CES at 401.724.2253/2254 or calling Ticketmaster at 1.800.745.3000. Fans can also purchase tickets online at www.cesboxing.com, www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the first bout scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

New Promoter on the Block Is Carla Hill, Ex Champ Virgil's Wife PDF Print E-mail
Written by The Sweet Science

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (JUL Y 12, 2011)—This Saturday night at The New Resorts Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, Maurice Harris and Derric Rossy will battle it out for the USBA Heavyweight championship on a card that will be promoted by first time promoter Carla Hill and Carla Hill Promotions.

Hill, a resident of nearby Pleasantville, New Jersey isn’t your ordinary first time promoter as she has some unique experiences that she brings to the game.

Besides the obvious of being a female in a male dominated world of boxing, she brings a wealth of experience in boxing.

Carla is the wife of former five-time world champion and future Hall of Famer, Virgil “Quicksilver” Hill.

Carla was at her husband’s side for the past twenty years and learned the ropes of boxing by being around Virgil’s title bouts.

“Virgil thought I would make a good promoter.  He inspired me and being around his fights and many big events over the better part of twenty years is what prepared me for this great event on Saturday night.”, said Carla Hill.

Hill who was also around the area when Atlantic City was the premier boxing town in the world in the 1980’s and early 1990’s, sees an opportunity to help restore the glamour to the fight town.

“My goal is to bring championship fights to Atlantic City.  I am not looking to branch out other places.  I have a great relationship with the people here at Resorts and I want to bring those “mega events” back to the boardwalk”

Making it in Atlantic City is something that is very personal as Hill was born in Atlantic City and raised in Pleasantville.

Another aspect of Hill is her extensive education background. Hill has earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information at Richard Stockton College and she is close to earning her Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and she has a New Jersey Realtors License.

With all of her boxing, educational and business experience, this mother of two, with her articulate & charismatic approach will be refreshing to the boxing business.

In just her first card, she has assembled one of the best cards top to bottom of the year:

12 Rounds for the USBA Heavyweight title: Maurice Harris (24-15-2, 10 KO’s) vs. Derric Rossy (25-4, 15 KO’s)

The undercard will feature seven undefeated prospects with three coming from Atlantic City:

Lavarn “Baby Bowe” Harvell (7-0, 3 KO’s) of Atlantic City will take on Hamid Abdul Mateen (2-1, 1 KO) in a four round Light Heavyweight clash

After a two year layoff, undefeated Bantamweight sensation, Qa’Id Muhammad (5-0, 5 KO’s) will battle veteran Jason Rorie (6-12-2, 3 KO’s) of Winston Salam, North Carolina in a six round affair

Ismael Garcia (3-0) of nearby Millville, NJ will also take on an opponent to be named in a four round Jr. Middleweight bout
