Junior Wright coming to New York to shock Bujaj, capture WBC International Title
BROOKLYN, NY (May 12, 2014)--Chicago's Junior Wright (10-0, 9 KO's) is ready for his Thursday night showdown with fellow undefeated Cruiserweight Steve Bujaj
(12-0, 9 KO's), which take place at the Millennium Theater in Brooklyn.
The 10-round fight, promoted by Dmitry Salita's Star of David Promotions, will be for the WBC USNBC and the WBC International Cruiserweihght titles.
"Training has been good," said Wright.
He doesn't seem to care what Bujaj has accomplished as he believes it is about what he brings to the ring.
"I do not study my opponents. I have heard of him but I fight on instinct."
Like Bujaj, Wright is not afraid to put it on the line against an undefeated opponent so early in his career.
"I am excited for this opportunity. I did not think it would come this early but this is what we train for. We do not want to wait to find out where we stand. All I am going to say is be ready for a hurricane this Thursday night in Brooklyn."
