Boxing writer extraordinaire Bernard Fernandez will be inducted into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame Class of 2013, along with Mike Tyson, Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Ray Mercer.

He was the first media person to be inducted into the Pennsylvania Boxing Hall of Fame in 2005, received the Nat Fleischer Award from the BWAA in April 1999 for lifetime achievement and informed and entertained readers of the Philadelphia Daily News on the Penn State football and boxing beats.

Congratulations to Bernie, from the entire TSS Universe!
