Radam G says:

Sergio Martinez cannot take it in the gut. Miguel Cotto is gonna whip his butt. Going for the fighter with bad knees is insane. Danggit! I hear rain on my window pane.

M-Co is taking S-Ma DOWN. And is going to make him fall like a scarecrow clown. Holla!

amayseng says:

I just dont see Cotto doing what he wants to do. Trout, who is leagues below Sergio embarrassed Cotto in a boxing lesson. Cotto should be ashamed he got beat like he did by Trout.

The knee will be fine, Sergio will apply enough feints and movement to keep Cotto off track.

Cotto wont like the power on Sergios shots, hell he could barely get through Floyds, was even wobbled 2-3 times.

brownsugar says:

Cotton is like an Urban Legend that never dies... No matter how many times he is defeated he comes back as a more terrifying threat than the last time

amayseng says:

Holy smokes my post went missing.

I dont see Cotto having success doing what he wants in this fight. Trout boxed circles around Cotto and

Sergio is 3 levels above Trout and is a hitter.

Cotto is going to get busted up in this one, badly.

The knee will be fine, Sergio will feint and move just enough to stop Cotto in his tracks and land those

left hands all night.

Floyd wobbled Cotto at least twice what do you think Sergio is gonna do to him?

Carmine Cas says:

It depends which Sergio shows up amazing one but that's just me trying not jinx the marvelous one. On paper Sergio butchers Cotto, look up Miguel's last name in italian, it's already written on the wall.

amayseng says:

I know I am doing the math on paper.

Of course we arent sure what Sergio will show up, or Cotto for that matter.

That what makes this matchup so intriguing.

Radam G says:

I'm certain that a crushing, arse-whipping Miguel Cotto will show. And a good athletic, but terrible-boxing, Sergio Martinez will show. And M-Co will win this show. Holla!

I see what you mean, but at the same time Trout's more of a conventional boxer than Martinez, who's style requires the ability to constantly use irregular moves, angles and variation in rhythm. Cotto has flaws, but also the discipline and ability to wait for him to slow down and be more stationary. Martinez burned his last candles in his grand stand vs Jr; question is how many candles Cotto has left.

This fight is what boxing's about; different opinions, excitement in the air. It's gonna be a great wait til june.
