Golovkin, 28-0-0 (25KO"s), will defend his WBA/IBO world titles in the main event of Monte Carlo Boxing Bonanza for his return to Monaco at the Salles des Etoiles.

His outstanding performances in 2013 (four knockout victories) also earned him "Fighter of the Year" honors from USA Today.

Golovkin has stopped 15 opponents in a row and holds the highest KO percentage among all active world champions in boxing in addition to the highest in middleweight division history.

Adama, 22-3-0 (16KO's), has previously challenged then IBF Middleweight Titlist Daniel Geale in March 2012, losing a close decision in Australia.

To bad Haglers not around... He could probably last 13 or 14 rounds against GGG going by the old school format. Apparently GGG's management wants to prolong the Ward confrontation. And Quillen is still missing in action whenever someone's name, who is not bum, is mentioned.

amayseng says:

Bsug why isnt our boy GGG fighting on hbo this weekend? or tv anywhere?

I will have to stream it but i will be unhappy not to watch GGG in clear HD destroying dude.

I wouldnt put GGG above Hagler just yet, Hagler was a damn beast.

Not a badly written piece.

Had to smirk as Woods describes Adama style and chance . . bit by bit describing the train wreck that he will inevitably become for a paycheck.

I mean, anyone that wings punches when desperate and doesn’t possess pop in either hand; is in for a nightmare with 3G.

Not in the least as most that don’t wing punches have some pop in either hand; are in for a nightmare with 3G.

Big up for Adama for taking the fight and a beating. Seriously, with everyone that spars Golovkin not too embarrassed to say they wear protection, there’s no doubt the boy can deliver the pain.
