Johnny Tapia's turbulent existence came to a halt on May 27; "Mi Vida Loca" was a tortured soul on this earth, who used the ring, and illicit substances, to divert himself from dark thoughts and memories. The five-time champ's heart had enough, and stopped ticking in New Mexico. He was 45 years old.
