CottoMayorga Warr 19Take this for what it's worth, the man is a maniac on Twitter, even more unhinged there than he is in real life. But Ricard Mayorga Tweeted at about 3 PM ET that he was about to take a phone call in which he'll learn whether Floyd Mayweather fights Manny Pacquiao in May, and if that doesn't go down, he says he'll be fighting Mayweather. Or Juan Manuel Marquez or Amir Khan.

Mayorga's timeline is best suited as source of comedy rather than hard news, but this bears following, if nothing else.

Early or late April fool's joke?

brownsugar says:

Mayweather should fight him on REGULAR HBO, and a 1 million dollar payday for jipping the fans of a proper finish in the Ortiz fight. Although Floyd was going to knock him out via brutal TKO anyway,... The early stoppage was not the way to accomodate fans who enjoy watching him work.

dino da vinci says:

@brownsugar. Perfect post. It would of taken me 17 paragraphs to say what you said in a couple of sentences.

brownsugar says:

Thanks Dino Da Vinci, Ortiz show some heart and some kill or be killed last ditch determination, but he got sloppy. Courtesy of the right hand.. Floyd pissed me off to a degree but I have it on Dvd.
