brownsugar says:

could easily go either way.... the hittable Rios could digest too many punches... but he's the harder hitter..he'll come to the fight weighing 153lbs or more....Garcia runs a good camp..... give me Rios via TKO. It aint gonna be pretty.

ultimoshogun says:

Yeah, I think Rios can get a stoppage late in the fight, but he's gonna have to go through hell himself to get the win...this one's gonna be good.

the Roast says:

Bam Bam time. This one cant miss.

brownsugar says:

let me just toss in a non-topic prediction... having a hard time predicting the Williams/Lara bout. both combatants have refrained from the usual harsh personal attacks and have been very respectful. Lara looked a little skiddish during the weigh-in, .....probably prefight jitters, The guy has gone 2 or 3 times more rounds in the amateurs than Paul has had in his entire career......similarly Paul has been very subdued,.. no daily blogging his fight plan on the internet like the old days....talking about retirement instead........ I'm betting both of them will feel right at home when the bell rings and their fighters instincts return. If the old Paul comes out... he will win.... If he's lost confidence, he'll lose. not a true prediction but it's the best I can come up with.... one things for sure.... Lara was the ONLY opponent HBO would approve when Paul decided to end his sabatical. May seem cruel after Paul gave HBO his best... but that's boxing.

DaveB says:

I will go with Rios but I wouldn't bet the house on this one.
