Radam G says:

Who do I like? C'mon Editor Mike! Let me check my timepiece. Outta Shane Sugar's hair, Da Manny is gonna knock da gease. Wow! It's PacMan TIME! It's Pinoy TIME! It's TIME for me to get on my RHYME, and spit about a Pacific Rim DIME! Feeling lumps and bumps upside his noggin and torso, Sugar Shane is gonna be at a severe loss. His brain and heart circuits will crisscross. Sugar Shane can no longer pay the cost to be the boss. Da sucka is so long in da tooth, he cannot find the right amount of floss. On his arse, Da Manny is gonna do a grill cleaning. And, at 10 to 1 odds, nobody is being demeaning. Da flaws and holes of Da Manny, that ole, wise, slick Genie Naazim spits about, are optical illusions to suck suckas into a speed trap of confusion and contusions. Sugar Shane is gonna be like a startled deer, on a train track, gettin' ready to get smack while staring into an oncoming speedy, bright light. KaPOW! By round four or five, Sugar Shane will be knocked out, having never been in da fight. Holla!

Big Daddy says:

Lets Be Real.. The Main Event is a Glorified Walk-Out Bout. Mosely just aint the same without Balco Vitamins. His only impressive victory in years was against a faded Margarito. Manny by 8th Round TKO.

brownsugar says:

Roach and Pac both ducked Mosley when he was on a roll.... after clobbering Martinez.. Shane couldn't get a fight for over a year before the hardly seen and mostly out of action Floyd Mayweather came back out of the woodwork to give him a one-sided boxing tutorial... but now..... Shane is too far removed from his mercurial beatdown of the heavy fisted Martinez to do much damage to the over-achieving Pacman(who probably found out a way to work out in his sleep subconciously)... Pac will swoop down on OL' Shanes bones like a flock of hungry buzzards come May 7th... it's fitting... to be ushered out with your boots on against the top active P4P boxer in the sport... you can even say it's an honor... And who deserves it more than Shane?? who has gone up against everybody who was anybody around his weight class over the past couple of decades... Pac will send him on his way with the distinguished honor and dignity that only the warrior-congressman can provide...And Roach won't gloat... because he knew Shane was ripe for the taking(and knowing Roach he'll probably say so) Pac may even invite Shane to his next birthday party if the beatdown is too brutal.. such is the way of honor amongst the true warriors of the TSS.

Big Daddy says:

Um.. No Offense B-Suge, but Shane never fought or beat Sergio Martinez.

ali says:

I think early Shane has a shot cause one thing he hasn't lost is his power and Pac ain't the hardest person to hit. I remember everyone thought he washed when fought margacheato so I won't just count him out. The problem with Shane is he gets tired and against Pac if you get tired you don't have a chance at winning the middle and late rounds so have to go with Pac.

amayseng says:

it is obvious the pacman is the clear choice in this fight. however, it will be very interesting to see how shane fights. he is too old to be chasing and running pac down, that will just expend all his energy and zap his power. i think freddy has pac jabbing and moving for the first 5 rounds trying to tire shane out. if i was shane i would stand in the middle of the ring and not move an inch, let pac come to him then setup his footwork to throw short, sharp punches conserving energy. pac likes to fight, he will eventually stand in front of shane and fight a bit, but when will he do it? shane could have a better chance if he would just fight behind the jab, stay conservative and let his shots add up. pac is an endurance athlete as well, but if the slow, lumbering zombie in margacheato can land some shots then im guessing shane can as well. unless shane gets an early knockout say before round 7, i see pacman running away on points. one thing tho, shane did look better endurance wise against mora, and shane was chasing dude all night, that is a good sign compared to the mayweather fight where shane was gassed from the 3rd round out..

Radam G says:

Sugar Shane's chances of winning is no double an optical illusion slim, because he got the wise ole Genie Naazim. And that optical illusion slim is a big, ole ZERO! The Sugarman is not very, very far from an action hero. He will be in that squared jungle jittering and shaking like he has smoked a bad batch of crack. He won't be able to handle Da Manny's missile and nuclear attack. For da Sugarman, this is a rumble for moola, and so knows dat is his Pops Sugar Jack. In dat squared jungle, against Sugar Shane, Da Manny is gonna be a boxing Mack. OUT by round four or five, Sugar Shane is gonna get laid. But at least, he will be pimp paid. Holla!

Matthew says:

Is this a real question? Mosley has no shot to win. His speech is thickening, his reflexes are dulled, and he can't pull the trigger like he once could. He's getting older, like all of us. Unless he lands a home run, he will get stopped in the 6th round. If he couldn't handle Sergio Mora, he's got no chance against Pacquiao. Not even Brother Naazim (whom I really admire) can help him. If Shane should happen to pull off a miracle, I will be the first one to eat crow, but my money says he's got as much of a chance against Pacquiao as Billy Bear had against Reggie Hammond in 48 Hrs.

brownsugar says:

@BigDaddy I meant ANTONIO MARGARITO!!!!!!

MisterLee says:

Pacquiao inside of 5 rounds. after a few rounds mosley will go guns a blazing and pacquiao will catch him with a hard counter and go in for the kill. poor mosley. i'm one of his biggest fans, but his days are over, but he'll put up a good fight.

Big Daddy says:

Hahahahahaha! Sh*t Happens.. We all do it. No Biggie Bruh.

ultimoshogun says:

I agree with amayseng, as far as what Sugar Shane needs to do to give himself a chance at an upset...Shane needs to let the fight come to him and throw back whenever Manny attacks, his edge in power should win him some of the exchanges...As long as Shane doesn't gas he'll be dangerous throughout the fight...other than that gameplan I don't give Mosley much of a chance...but if the Mosley who fought Mayweather shows up this could turn into a massacre..I think Pacman starts to put a real beating on Mosley after about 5 rounds which will cause his corner to throw in the towel...Manny wins TKO rd 9.

FighterforJC says:

I can NEVER shake off the image of Pacquiao crumbling to the canvas after absorbing that left cross from Torrecampo some 13 or 14 years ago. Iknow the circumstances were different and he has matured physically since, but still, as a pacquiao fan I always worry that he'll walk into something blindly. Mosley is the wrong guy to do that against and Pacquiao's defense has to be tighter than usual. I still think that Mosley will try to wrestle Pacquiao. Pacquiao to me is still a lightweight, perhaps a super lightweight at best. To me it's not punching power that determines what weightclass you belong, but one's ability to take a punch. I guess I'm just a worrier. I mean, Pac's handled Cotto's and Margarito's power, and while those two don't have the sharp, one-punch power of Mosley, they are still very respectable punchers. I think Mosley landing his lottery punch and knocking out Pacquiao is always a possibility, but to me the biggest upset would be for Mosley to dominate Pacquiao for the majority of the fight and win by a wide decision. However I do suspect that Pacquiao will come out a lot more aggressively than most people expect him to. Mosley keeps talking as though he'd like Pacquiao to bring it to him, but I think he's bluffing. I think Pacquiao has a very good chance of blitzing Mosley and hurting im badly early on, which could either lead to an early stoppage or will set the tone for a long beatdown of Mosley.

the Roast says:

The thing about Shane Mosley is that he has never been knocked out. He has only been down once. Never been beaten up. Mayweather dominated him but never came close to stopping him. Everybody's time runs out sooner or later. I can't see Shane winning this fight but I have a hard time imagining him getting KOed. Pacquiao is the smaller man. He was hitting Margarito at will and never put him down. I think Mosley's best chance will be to get to Pacman's body. Hurt him downstairs the way Mararito did. He can't let Manny just blast away. Make it a boxing match. Shane can't win but he can go twelve.

Radam G says:

I'm reminded of the time that Pops Sugar Jack saved his son Sugar Shane from a severe arsh-thrashing in the amateurs. Some Pinoy kid was putting a beatdown on da sweets. But da past is like an arse behind you, so let's move forward. Da Manny's combo Pac-punches travel as fast as the speed of sound -- 1,236 kph. [Holla at Youtube and see him throw 20 punches in a sec.] If Sugar Shane stand around waiting on engaging Da Manny you will hear KaBOOM! KaWACK! KaPOW! KaPOW! CLUCK! Da Sugarman will fade to deep, deep dark like an exploding ligh bulb -- CIKA! CIKA! BZZZZZZ! ZUP! And the particles of the sugar will splash onto dat canvas faster than the flow rate --5,720 meters cubed per second -- of water over the lip of Niagara Falls. Trainer Genie Naazim won't be hollering "swim without gettin' wet," to da Sugarman, because da sugar will be a mix in a splash of blood, sweat and tears on dat canvas if he stands and wait on Da Manny, who's so powerfully and speedfully uncanny. Holla!

FighterforJC says:

@Roast: As much as I hate to admit it, I think that Mayweather came extremely close to stopping Shane Mosley. Had Mayweather pressed for the KO I think you would've seen Mosley staggering all over the ring and flailing, prompting the ref to stop the fight on him. Also, Mosley took some pretty clean shots to the jaw against Mora, and I'm talking about Mosley's jaw just hanging out there. It could be disastrous against a fighter of Pacquiao's precision and power. Pacquiao nearly stopped Margarito and he did manage to seriously hurt him in the 9th or 10th. Against Pacquiao, Margarito was far more defensive than he was against Mosley,. Against Mosley, Margarito had no respect and walked into punch after punch. And most definitely, Mosley's beard is nowhere near the caliber of Margarito's. He's not going to eat as much as Marg did against Pac, but it's gonna take a lot less for Pac to chop Mosley down.

Real Talk says:

A lot of folks in boxing circles are picking Mosley and they're saying the same thing. Manny can be hit and Mosley has gamechanging power in both hands. Manny likes to mix it up which is good for Mosley's style. Mayweather was horrible for Mosley's style. Radam G spoke on how fast Manny's hands are but you know what nuetralizes that. A good jab....yup...timing. To beat Manny you must slow the fight down. Everybody is writing Mosley off....again LOL!!!. Don't be shocked or say I told you so if Mosley catches Manny clean and hurts him bad, Either to the body or head. Mosley can be first...and tie him up, don't think it can't happen. Mosley has hand speed. What get's him in trouble is wants to rumble too much. If Naz can keep him focused he can slow the fight down to where conditioning wont be that much of a factor...but when was Shane not in shape??? Boxing skills n fundementals nuetralizes raw athleticism. Let's see what we get from this one.

Sounds a lot like Mosley's only chance at winning is to get lucky. As far as "being first and tying up," sounds a lot like what my prediction, which is that Mosley would try to turn this into a wrestling match the way he did against Margarito. Mosley has handspeed, but that doesn't mean squat when you have no legs. Mosley looked horrible against Mora. He was twitching like he had ticks, his reflexes were so shot. Anything is possible and I'm planning on paying $100 for Pacquiao to win. I'm planning on betting against Pacquiao so I can be confiscated financially should the improbable happen. Know of any reputable online gambling sites?

Radam G says:

Wow! People love to sell HOPE sandwichs about Da Manny getting beat by a jittery, bad-gait shuffling, turtle-legged, long-in-the tooth has been. Sugar Shane has absolutely no chance. CHANCE will be hanging out with DANCE. And they will probably be in a Las Vegas hotel room gettin' on their ROMANCE.

When a fighter starts to jitter and shuffle, his best days are LONG OVER! This balderdash about timing of Da Manny's punches is what the oldtimers call "sh*t talk dat cam't [sic] walk." Many fools have tried to TIME bullets and incoming missiles. On the Big-screen movie theatres and on the big-screen crib televisions, dat timing jive works. But in real life, in a real squared jungle it is a lot of bullspit. Only in the optical illusions of magicans' handy work and smoke screens can one time and catch bullets in between the grill. Sugar Shane Mosley will get his grill busted, and will catch Da Manny's bullet-fast and missile-crashing punches upside da head and deep into da torso. More than five rounds, this bout will not go. Holla!

Radam G says:

Haters and faders in boxing circles never realize how pathetic that they sound. I'm reminded of the time in the Philippines when a drunk-and-drugged up American soldier took a dumb-arse bet of $3,000 that a then eight-year-old Radam G could not swim three kilometers from one small island to the other one. As the jokers in the boxing circles say that "Manny can be hit," this joker said that Radam can get wet. WTF! A BUNCH OF FUDGING GENIUSES! In boxing, somebody is suppose to be able to HIT you. Just as in swimming, water was suppose WET me! Just like Champions' laps would get wet by Baby Radam G's little weewee. Hehehehehehe! How was Baby Radam G suppose to know that you don't peepee on the champions' lap? HEHEHEHEHEHE!

Real Talk, the moral of the story is don't listen to the jokers in boxing circles, and don't listen to a genie's joke to "swim without gettin' wet." I got wet, beat by the water and waves like a mutha-swimmer, and got paid. Da Manny is going to get hit, knock Sugar Shane da double out, and get PAID. And those "in boxing circles" will then say that Da Manny could never beat Money May and dat Sugar Shane was shot. [DUD! We know about Shane. We are just playing an optical illusion to get PAID. This is the bitnezz of prizefighting. Your eating of Sugar Shane HOPE SANDWICHS of winnin,' difinitely have me gettin' on my GRINNIN!'] Those who talk, TALK! Those who wanna fight, COME ON DOWN! And [Money May] quit playing DA CLOWN! Holla!

the Roast says:

@Fighter4JC, You may be right. I might be looking at Sugar Shane through rose colored glasses. Just because I cant imagine it doesnt mean it wont happen. I never thought I'd see Roy Jones get blasted out until Tarver did it. I have great respect for both fighters. They have both always conducted themselves like Champions. Maybe this is the end of the line for Mosley. Pacquiao is fast as hell. I think Mosley's only chance is to get inside and hurt the smaller man to the body. Manny was hurt to the body by Margarito. Shane will pay one hell of a price trying to get there.
