We are almost ready to rock. Tim Bradley (139 1/2 pounds) and Devon Alexander (140) made weight and are a day away away from their junior welterweight showdown at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, which will run on HBO.

Alexander (21-0 with 13 KO)s) holds the WBC title, while Bradley (26-0, with just 11 KOs) boasts the WBO version. The winner can lay claim to being the best of class, though the Brit Amir Khan could protest that until the victor meets him, no kingpin can be anointed.

PONTIAC, Mich. —Gary Shaw Productions and Don King Productions have announced that all members of the military, police, fireman, EMS or any veteran who come to Saturday night’s world championship unification match at the Silverdome, dressed in uniform, will be admitted to for free.

One ticket will be given to those mentioned above who arrive in uniform at the designated box office window at the Silverdome on Saturday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

“The Super Fight” features WBC super lightweight champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KOs), of St. Louis, and WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (26-0, 11 KOs), of Palm Springs.

Tickets, priced from $25 to $400 are still available and can be purchased at the Silverdome box office, by calling (248) 338-2500 or online at www.silverdometickets.com/.  The event is being promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and Don King Productions in association with the Silverdome in Pontiac and Thompson Boxing Promotions.
