  • Jarrell Miller "I've Never Took An A** Whooping"

Jarrell Miller "I've Never Took An A** Whooping" - Heavyweight Jarrell Miller is set to clash with Gerald Washington this Saturday night at the Barclays Center.

The fight is one of the co-features on the Showtime and the Premier Boxing Champions card that sees Adrien Broner meeting Mikey Garcia in the main event. The undefeated Miller (18-0-1) weighed in a massive 299 pounds for Saturday's fight, giving him a more than 50 pound weight advantage over his opponent. As for Washinton, he went five rounds with WBC world titlist Deontay Wilder in his last outing and he is looking to avoid the bugaboo of two losses in a row.

In this TBC segment our cameraman at the scene Marcelino Castillo caught Miller as he came to the microphone at Thursday afternoon's final event press conference. The "Big Baby" has never been one to mince words and he was not about to take it easy on his opponent, Gerald Washington. Check out what Miller had to say.

Now Im the first to throw the cheeseburger jokes around but he looked big and thick but not necessarily fat. Te fight didn't go the distance but eight rounds is a good bit and he didn't gas completely.

No he didn't but he was in control throughout. Never pressed by Washington. Instead, Miller dictated terms of the fight and pressed whenever he wanted.

Conditioning in boxing shows when the fighter who is perceived to not be in condition is pressed. If they however can dictate terms and be in control, the issue doesn't show itself. Miller is playing a dangerous game with the weight. Yes it worked against Washington. And Kassi. And Dennis. But what about a better heavyweight who fights back more? That is where we would see Miller huffing and puffing after three rounds.

Washington warranted a WBC title shot?

That big guy was beaten at the weigh-in.

Seemed like 'Big Baby' intimidated him.

The problem is, name a "better heavyweight" on the American scene?

Deontay Wilder and arguably Andy Ruiz Jr.?

WIlder isnt going to fight him next. Ruiz Jr, Arreola, Stiverne, Jennings. Miller vs Ruiz Jr winner gets first in line at the Vegas buffet of their choice.
