Conlan was a two time Olympian who decided to turn professional after being robbed at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio de Janerio. Promoter Top Rank signed a series of Olympians last year and the card also featured Brazil’s Robson Conceicao and Honduran Teofimo Lopez. The card was headlined by 23-0 welterweight up and comer Alex Saucedo though it was clear from begining to end that the star of the evening was Michael Conlan. Conlan stopped opponent Tim Ibarra in the third round of his bout to move to 1-0 as a professional.

Check out the results and highlights from the MSG Theater right here in this TBC report.
