Herrera beat him and took the appreciation from the fans . Garcia gave nothing but excuses.

Good interviewer, good questions. Garcia has no answers, he knows he was beat and now has a heavy bag in front of him.

He should head some of his own advice, stretch it out because it's all going to be over soon. Rod Salka..

    Continue, Skibbz. Rod Salka is...

Is what? Going to beat Garcia? Going to get pummelled by Garcia?

I will be ringside. Any of you going to be there?

It does sound like Garcia has been reading the press clippings and fan reaction to his Salka fight and is getting imitated about it. He was very quick to rattle off all the name opponents he has faced recently and seemed to be getting defensive at times.

I wonder how this will impact his performance on Saturday. If one thing, Salka will move a lot. If Garcia goes in swinging for the KO early and forgets to set things up, he could look bad. I don't think Salka is going to be a threat to defeat Garcia but could take some of the luster from Garcia's name.

I was also unsure from that interview whether Garcia will fight again at 140 or not. He was throwing out catchweights when asked about a Herrera rematch. I am thinking he is moving to 147 after this fight. We will see.

The welterweight division is already stacked. On Saturday night, we had Brandon Rios make his official move into the welterweight division. Is Danny Garcia next? Is he going to be testing the proverbial waters at 147? It sounds to me likd that's the plan.

He should go back and watch the tape of himself fighting Lucas Matthysse. It seems as if he's forgotten what he's capable of.

How does Danny win here? or Haymon if you ask Danny. If Danny goes and knocks out Salka in two rounds or less, Well that is what he is supposed to do? if Danny struggles for 12 rounds vs Salka with no Knockdowns and wins on decision, Danny loses in the eyes of the media and fans. I don't no much of Salka or his style, I heard haymon tried to find sombody similiar to Herrera style, stick the jab move and box.

Salka likes to move a lot in the ring. He uses his leg and works behind the jab. He will step into range briefly off the jab to throw combinations and get back on his back.

Regardless the result, I agree this is a no win situation for Garcia except for the fact he will be cashing a nice paycheck for an easy fight. But fans will rip apart the result whatever it may be. Both he and Haymon had to be aware of that when making the fight and must not have been too concerned.
