Oscar is talking about a very good card.

Canelo vs Cotto with Ward vs GGG as co-feature. Can it happen? That will be the card of the year and then some. Do you best to make it happen Oscar!

Oscar is just twittering out of his butt, chumming the water, so to speak. In an earlier tweat, he proposed a fight between Golovkin and Peter Quillin. "My Latino brother will do a number on the G Man," he wrote. (Quillin was born in Chicago but is of Cuban descent.)

Putting all four of those guys on the same card would be a bad business move. Considering the purse obligations, the nut would be enormous.

Either GGG vs Quillen or GGG vs Ward would be a beautiful thing.

Oscar is definitely talking and tweeting a lot. Its all what the fans want to hear as well. The problem, after all this talking and tweeting so far has gotten us the Garcia-Salka card and a card in September that will feature Adrien Broner and Lucas Matthysse in separate fights and almost assuredly not against anyone in the top 10.

I know Oscar is just getting back in the groove and it will take time for his vision to be seen. I am willing to give him a chance. But he shouldn't be tweeting out what we want to hear. We want to see results not just tweets getting our hopes up.

I anticipate finding out this Friday where negotiations between the GGG camp & Quillin camp are. Quillin will be my in-studio guest on SiriusXM from 6-8pm.

We've got a lot to talk about.

Colgate Quillin is not to be messed with.

If he's on point, he could take his new Colgate smile and make the Good Boy lose his, HBK-style.

    Or the other way around.

Either way, I'd like to see that fight.

Kid Chocolate will melt under the glare of the Kazakh sun.

I'd love to see the fight made!

Me too.In his last two fights, Kid C was getting out boxed and walked down by Gabe Rosado before the Dr stopped the fight on cuts in the 10th round.. Kid C went the distance against a long in the tooth and under-weight Konecny. Not too impressive when compared to what GGG has been doing. Kid C might be tough and strong but weak on the boxing skills. I see no advantage for Kid C over GGG.

    Boxing ability goes to GGG
    Speed goes to GGG
    Power goes to GGG
    Experience goes to GGG
Chin might be equal -both have good chins.

Have you ever seen Quillin in and around the New York boxing scene?
