When the same thing keeps working keep doing it. Lara the people's champ.
This is what I expected... Lara wins a close fight but loses on the cards. Lara took command of the first three rounds...gave away some of the middle rounds and closed out the championship rounds convincingly.
I think a draw could have been tolerable but I think most of us knew Lara wouldn't win a close decision anywhere against Canelo.
Yes..... two of the judges may have been on the level.
But there seems to be a rat involved in every major fight.
Lara should have known this and made a better effort to take a few of the rounds more convincingly.
Evasive expertise is a good skill but its called boxing.
Not hide and seek.
Still, I thought Lara did enough to get the win.

I knew it! C.J. Ross is not alone. Out of boxing, both of these mutha-double-jokes belong. They don't have an iota of SHAME. Bunch of lame nano-d•¢k$.
They didn't give an ant's @$$ that they were going to robbed Lara. And play the public for a bunch of jive-turkey suckas. The three humbugs that was sitting in high seats adjacent to the ring canvas got paid a BIG bribe. Now off into the night, they are going to ride.
They ought to catch a tornado and land in Oz and join the humbug behind that curtain. And Dorothy's dog Toto ought to bite all their arses.
Somebody, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Give them a morning-after pill and a verbal shellacking for bytch cheating.
I thought Canelo won the fight. It was again not an easy fight to score in my opinion and I can see arguments for both sides.
To me, what carried many of the close rounds were the impact of the punches Canelo landed compared to those Lara landed. Lara would land some to the head but they weren't as hard or clean as the body shots that Canelo would land.
