When Pacquiao and Bradley rumbled the first time, on June 9, 2012 atthe MGM Grand, Bradley's hand was raised via a controversial splitdecision, ending Pacquiao's welterweight title reign as well as hisseven-year, 15-bout winning streak. Though both fighters claimedvictory neither was satisfied. Destiny may have played a hand in theirfirst battle but it will be survival of the fittest that determinesthe winner of this exciting rematch.
Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs), the lone congressional representative fromthe Sarangani province in the Philippines (he was reelected to asecond term, running unopposed last year), is the only fighter to wineight world titles in as many different weight divisions. A three-timeFighter of the Year and the Boxing Writers Association of America's"Fighter of the Decade," Pacquiao's resumé features victories overfuture Hall of Famers, including Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, MarcoAntonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley and JuanManuel Márquez. From 2008 to 2010, five of his seven victories wereworld title victories in five different weight classes, from 130 to154 pounds. No active boxer has sold more live tickets in the U.S.than Pacquiao, who is also credited with over eight millionpay-per-view buys. He returns to the ring after a scintillatingbeatdown of former world champion Brandon Rios.
Bradley (31-0, 12 KOs), from Palm Springs, Calif., a two-divisionworld champion who unified the junior welterweight titles twice duringhis previous four-year reign, returns to the ring after threeconsecutive career-best victories. After moving up in weight andbeating Pacquiao in 2012, Bradley co-starred in the 2013 Fight of theYear last March, winning a brutal 12-round decision over RuslanProvodnikov though Bradley was suffering from a concussion throughoutmost of the fight. In his most recent fight, in October, Bradley gavea virtuoso performance in defeating three-division world champion andMexican icon Juan Manuel Márquez proving that Bradley is indeed oneof boxing's elite pound for pound fighters.
T Bradley is getting KTFO! No more magic! He will be a pathetic tragic. On him, don't bet a DIME! Put it all on Da Manny knocking him da double fudge out, and you will think that you have won a gold mine.
Forget about the gold at the end of the rainbow. You will see the bet-yet Da Manny's knocking-out-an-@$$ show. Holla!
The threats, the taunts and the mockery after meeting no 1 may well be Bradleys undoing, as he probably will be looking for an end without controversy - and show up as the less intelligent version of himself. If so, he'll play into Pacquiaos hands. Otherwise, he's an odd nut to crack - not great, in some departments almost not even good, but odd and difficult. That alone can take a man very far.
Pacquiao will for sure come to fight in a different state of mind than last time. He will be looking for the KO in a way he hasn't for some time.
People will believe anything. Big Foot didn't need an extension. [Anybody can fight fight to fight.] The only type of cow that Big Foot will be for Da BobFather is a crash cow.
Nobody wants him. Come April, you will see all the scumbags that used him as a T-baby will tell him: "April's FOOL! Did you really think that you beat Da Manny the first time? You have just been knocked da F#** OUT! STEP! You are released from any said contract. Get da heck outta of Dodge!"
