  1. Re: James Kirkland talks about his upcoming fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez

Yup. Canelo seems to be willing for all big fights, even ones going against the risk-value model. He should keep this up and he will be remembered as a fighter who truly went after greatness. He...
  2. Re: James Kirkland talks about his upcoming fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez

haha I love it and so true. There seems to be a lingering dysfunction, and for them not to get together for this big a fight speaks louder than anything they can say.

Lol Why can't life throw us...

  4. Re: James Kirkland talks about his upcoming fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez

Cant disagree with any of this B-sugar,, and all very well said. But there seems to be a chemistry between Wolfe and Kirkland that unleashes Kirklands fighting spirit to its utmost. Fighting spirit,...
  5. Re: Martin Murray: "It was a tough fight, it was not just his power but the pressure, he keeps coming"

Seems reasonable enough to me. GGG seems to be the real deal but you want A side competition to see how he fares. A lot of people are sold on his skills (which are obviously there) and that they will...
  6. Re: Thurman Knows Guerrero Went 12 With Floyd, So The Bar Has Been Set

What do you see in RG to beat Thurman? I know Thurman has yet to fight anybody and has been hurt, but I am not feelin' the welterweight version of The Ghost against a true welterweight who can crack
  7. Re: Golovkin - A force to be reckoned with at 168...?

you sure you just dont want your boy to get paid? haha One of the qualities I expect the person to beat Golovkin to have is a grade A chin. Groves has tasted defeat more than once and by stoppage....
  8. Re: Golovkin - A force to be reckoned with at 168...?

He really has a lot of wrinkles to his offense and I digged the way he check forearmed Murray and measured the shot coming after. He turns his punches so hard that I know that dude must have some...

  10. Re: A lot of people are looking reeeeeeeeeeeeal stupid right now....

hahahaha yall are crazy. Im too excited and juiced to see this fight, i might be too faded before the bell rings! bless DVR!! and bless the hearts of the two tiny MEN who are about to do what they...
  11. Re: Is it time for Bernard Hopkins to hang his gloves?

the thing that really gets B-hop off is showing how different he is, IMO. The more all these fighters position themselves to not take risky fights, the more I see B-hop trying to make BIG moves...
  12. Re: Give It Up To Skibbz, He Has Joined The TSS 2,000-Post Club

Skibbz is a (polite) monster! Viva los ojitos de europa!
  13. Re: Which one of today's QB's doesn't go...

And after today, all four MIGHT that much closer to being HOF.
  14. Re: Which one of today's QB's doesn't go...

What play calling. Fake field Goal on 4th and 10 and later two back to back throws for the throat... Aggressive and it paid off

I finished the semester today, but THIS made my day. lmao
  19. Re: WOODS: I'm Liking Sergey Kovalev For Fighter of the Year

    Thanks D!

@Miguel, He faced very tough guys but a rematch against "Gallito" Estrada is the big fight he really needs. There a very few fights I can think of that would create such high-level...
  20. Re: WOODS: I'm Liking Sergey Kovalev For Fighter of the Year

I don't know the exact criteria for Fighter of the year, but I think we(as fans) put too much emphasis on losses. Vasyl Lomachenko deserves a nomination IMO, for coming out to the western fight game...

Re: Are we really still interested?

Everyone says they are tired of the talk, including me, but it's not true. This fight has re-invented the word hype since it was first announced many, many moons ago and this whole time we've been on...

  23. Re: Gerry Cooney said, "I'd Love to Work With Algieri"

Wow cool stuff. The way I see it is that Pacquaio chooses his spots a lot better now so he lands that left more which means he's less likely to get caught when he goes in for that "shift punch"....
  24. Re: Gerry Cooney said, "I'd Love to Work With Algieri"

Algieri needs a fight night trainer. Lots of guys know nuances IMO but training and guiding a guy to win big fights under pressure when its all said and done is a different beast. Good thing GC has...
