  1. Re: Hyde: Negotiations On For Rigo vs. Santa Cruz

    That's so funny.

As I wrote that . . . as soon as I inked the Frampton part in . . . I thought . ."I wonder if Skibbz will back me up on the Frampton part".

As, I recall we had previously...

D2: Yep, cool hand Luke alright.

    Commish; good story.

Met the guy twice, and Tua told me few outrageously good and humorous things about Ced.

Yep, if she were your "lady" (long shot in many ways I know :)) you certainly wouldn't be telling her that the dishes are not clean.
  4. Re: The Underappreciated Boxing Brilliance of Erislandy Lara

Apart from a few confusing references in relation to (back to front) orthodox and southpaw stances when describing fight sequences and/or scenes, that was a good long-distance piece Kelsey.

    Lara,...
  5. Re: Gyllenhaal’s "Southpaw" Hits Theaters This Summer

Well, after reading your initial response, to which mine above replies, I did scrimmage about and eventually found the "random topics" link at the bottom of one of the forums.

    That then led me to...

    Re: Canelo-Kirkland is on

How's the comments on both, cunninglingus and Ann's alleged involvement?

Who says you cant hit 2 birds with one stone?

Or 1 bird with 2 stones.

Or 1 bird with 1 set of stones.

    OK, you get...

    Re: Canelo-Kirkland is on

Yes, I read something about Ann/James' training techniques previously a few years back.

    I think this was it . . .

    Re: Canelo-Kirkland is on

All I can say is . . . big opportunity man.

James is, as harsh as it sounds and at best these days, a fringe dweller/contender.

Sure he has a puncher's chance.

Yes, he has all the other...
  9. Re: Hyde: Negotiations On For Rigo vs. Santa Cruz

I can see Rigo beating both Cruz and Frampton; if they fight him.

    Re: Canelo-Kirkland is on

Pops Garcia and his son's gym would be good for Kirkland I think.

Can also see why pops Garcia is not interested too - but then if they take Rubio against 3G, then why not James?

    At least they...
  11. Re: Gyllenhaal’s "Southpaw" Hits Theaters This Summer

    Hey Roast.

    Thanks for line.

Man I am totally clueless and more vacant than Johnny Rotten lost and wandering into an advanced algebra class after a hard night punking about on stage with my...
  12. Re: Ratings for UFC’s McGregor a Good Omen for Boxing

    Yep, good post D2.

Had me smiling at the sarcasm.

I know how you feel debating the superiority of boxing with MMA junkies - gets harder every year this crap continues.

    I agree, the fight is...

    Re: Canelo-Kirkland is on

Yes, I have heard Rios is/was a bit like Danny Garcia in that respect (and a few others I mention).

There's no doubt Rios is tough.

He's not (always) easily/seriously tagged in a way that...
  14. Re: James Kirkland Rep Mike Miller Talks How Deal To Fight Canelo Came Together

I had forgot 50 was in with Kirkland.

Please incorporate/adjust my previous posts to accommodate.

Re: The Hauser Report: January Notes

Hard to argue with (some of) what you have said there Michigan.

Aside from assessing teach guy's attributes; I, too, get sick of the actual Mayweather V Pacquaio fight and/or the potential for it...

Re: Tix Info For Mora-Han, Feb. 6

I thought Mora was fighting N'dam as a late replacement for JT's recent orbital spin out into another far away galazy . . . whoops I mean galaxy.

    Have I missed something here?

    When did...

MMMRG I am interested to hear your take on why Pacquaio didn't blow Rios out.

What do you think happened there?

Or did you not expect that to happen?

    Re: Canelo-Kirkland is on

I didn't know Rios was dehydrating that much when he was a lightweight.

As far as his ability goes, I see him as a slightly less aggressive version of Provodnikov.

    Rios probably has a better...
  19. Re: RINGSIDE REPORT: Rios Demolishes Alvarado

Yep - that's the fight that has enough bad blood in it to sell regardless of any concerns anyone has about either fighter.

I'm going to "contemplate" that fight into existence.

So, you're not buying welterweight greatness based on Rios’ last outing with mad Mike eh?

Crawford (moving up) against Rios would be a good slug out.
