Re: Floyd vs Chino 2 rewatch, interesting

Chino in a championship tournament with Rios, Provodnikov, Salido, Alvarado, Thurman and Bradley.
  2. Re: KNOCKDOWNS GALORE Salido Beats Kokietgym in Mexico Rumble

    Wow!

Absolutely right Oubob- these are the guys that deserve multi-millions for fighting.

Both guys had so much power, heart, strength and guts. Both guys gave it all, but Salido had more to...

    Re: Predictions for Algieri-Pacquiao?

Some interesting opinions posted here- very well reasoned for the most part.

I'm still on the side of it being a very dominant Pac performance though. Not sold at all on Algieri's skills in the...
  4. Re: Sorry Mr. Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson Was The Best Ever

Nice post Blast, on perhaps my personal favourite fighter of all time!
  5. Re: Sorry Mr. Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson Was The Best Ever

Haha that could be why he put in such a below par performance!
  6. Re: Sorry Mr. Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson Was The Best Ever

Not sure the Prince was echoing Mayweather, or the other way round.

The Prince had a point though- quite possibly the best featherweight of all time.
  7. Re: The Marksman Q n A Special: Kenny Bayless

I'm with you Amayseng, I don't honestly remember as I was falling asleep myself. In the UK, I had to stay up until 04.30 AM to see the start of that fight. After 4 rounds it went dead, and I wouldn't...
  8. Who will rise in the wake of DSG's vacation of the light welterweight division?

There's a plethora of talented fighters in the division already- Matthyse, Provodnikov, Peterson, Vargas, Herrera, (dare I say Broner).

Not to mention the possibility of Pacquiao going back down...
  9. Re: Undefeated Middleweight fighter Chris Eubank Jr. will have his next fight on Oct. 25

That's some wacky tacky super distracting loud music they've put over what could otherwise be an interesting interview. Was that really necessary?

    Predictions for Algieri-Pacquiao?

I know it's some time till the fight yet, and I know it's already been discussed on here.

But now that we've all had some time to think about it, read the opinions of others and have a few sleeps...
  11. Re: The Marksman Q n A Special: Kenny Bayless

Bayless gets pretty involved as a ref.

I wouldn't say he was reffing for Floyd, but his style certainly favoured the A side.
  12. Re: Al Bernstein says Keith Thurman is the future of the welterweight division, and more

Keith Thurman would be a great opponent for any top fighter in the welterweight division. He's a very highly skilled, powerful and extremely hungry fighter.

The only thing he isn't, is tested.

  13. Re: Leo Santa Cruz defeated Miguel Roman via TKO in Rd.2 wants Rigondeaux next

This is true, but I think that Skibbz is wondering that if the counter-punching Rigo prevents Santa-Cruz from getting off, then why wont the counter-punching Mayweather be able to stop Algieri's...
  14. Re: Legal issues between Mikey Garcia and Top Rank remain, no fight date for the WBO champion

Very strange. A real shame for Mikey and his fans that he wont be fighting sooner. He's been one of my favourite fighters for a while now, and I'd love to see him back in the ring, with quality...
  15. Re: Source: Mayweather-Maidana 2 Projects To 925,000 PPV Buys

I wonder what's in it for Buffet though?

Maybe he gets a kick out of seeing all those sweating pugs at the Mayweather Gym.

Re: Arum's Putting Pressure on Floyd

And this is why it will never happen.
  18. Re: Source: Mayweather-Maidana 2 Projects To 925,000 PPV Buys

At this rate, Radam would soon have us believe only 5 people actually bought the fight

    Arum's Putting Pressure on Floyd

Bob Arum reckons both Showtime and HBO, Floyd and Manny's respective promoters, have agreed to co-distribute the fight, should it ever be made.

Arum's still trying to pressure Floyd by giving the...
  20. Re: Raging Babe Fundraiser For Kennedy Cunningham Is A Knockout

Sounds like a blast, with a great cause too.
  21. Re: Nonito Donaire-Nicholas Walters On Golovkin-Rubio Undercard

Great card full of powerful, aggressive fighters- couldn't come soon enough!
  22. Re: Sorry Mr. Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson Was The Best Ever

My vote for TBE, personally, goes to either Willie Pep or Roberto Duran, depending how I'm feeling when you ask me.

  24. Re: Source: Mayweather-Maidana 2 Projects To 925,000 PPV Buys

It would be far more informative to know Showtime's profit margin on Maidana episode 2.

That would give us more of an indication than straight PPV buys, which are most likely doctored.

    I want...
  25. Re: Billy Joe Saunders fighting Chris Eubank Jr.

Damn it D2 I was just about to post a thread on this!

Great video, the Irish traveller community are surely one of the best at trash talk- genuinely original each time! Love it!

    The problem is...
