  1. Re: ESPN THE MAGAZINE’S “CUBA ISSUE” STIRS STRONG FEELINGS

The USA is still the land of the free, despite an ever increasing trend toward government control of every aspect of life. Blame anyone you want, but make sure and blame complacent US citizens who'd...
  2. Re: Kovalev Talks Stevenson, Stevenson, And Oh Yes, Agnew Too

Krusher And Superman are making the Cruiserweight division suddenly interesting!Bellew and Sillakh are both moving up up and AWAY!
  3. Re: Pacquao vs. Bradley 2 - April 12 - MGM Grand

I don't think Pac knows an "easy" way. He would have preferred Marquez! Champion inside and out!
  4. Re: THE MOST AVOIDED LIST: Too Dangerous To Fight in 2014

@ RG - LOL every time you write "Hulkquez"...aw man that's funny.
  5. Re: THE MOST AVOIDED LIST: Too Dangerous To Fight in 2014

"Fast" Fres Oquendo should be near the top of that list. If Francesca Piniata (sic) can get a shot at Wlad, Oquendo's is long overdue.
  6. Re: Ariza Responds To Allegation That He Slipped Energizer Into Mouth of Maidana

Got it RG - ammonia on the gauze makes sense but the pill theory seems to be prevailing. Regardless Ariza looks like he's practicing to be David Copperfield's apprentice with the slight of hand. Bad...
  7. Re: Ariza Responds To Allegation That He Slipped Energizer Into Mouth of Maidana

Don't know of any kind of pill that would have done the kid any good with 3 minutes left to go in the fight. Good drugs take 20 minutes to an hour to digest and take effect.

    Re: A Note on Broner-Maidana

Thing that impressed this corner was El Chino's combination punching. Throwing his shots in unpredictable arcs, and mostly 4-5 at a time, really caught AB by surprise round after round. Broner...
  9. Re: Arum Says Provodnikov Open To Fighting Pacquiao April 12 in Vegas

@Radam - LMAO at Hulkquez, classic and dead on the money. Hard to imagine Provo doing any better than Rios, and I picked Rios to win. Manny showed some new stuff under the hood.

    Re: Pacquiao's Poorhouse?

Manny seems much more generous than educated in economics. His people wait outside his gym for handouts from the champ, and he obliges. There will be no such handouts when it's Manny's turn. The...
  12. Re: Manny Pacquiao Is Fighting To Remain A Star

I'll be buying the fight too Blake, these two regardless of who wins is can't-miss nuclear war. Seems most knowledgeable people are picking Pac to stop Rios. People are also saying Pac is bigger. Pac...

    Re: Is GGG P4P?

Take it easy now...Sergio Martinez is still the champ, and his resume towers over that of GGG's. To hear the chatter you'd think GGG has already beaten the man! Give Martinez a chance to make his...
  15. Re: Who Punches Harder, Golovkin or Stevens? Don't Assume You Know!

Yep amayseng - they both steamroll guys, difference is GGG steamrolls B/B+ guys, Stevens rolls c-level guys. Can't see a guy who lost to Brinkley beating the Kazahk kid
  16. Re: Who Punches Harder, Golovkin or Stevens? Don't Assume You Know!

    Ggg ko 1.
  17. Re: After Stevens, Gennady Golovkin Wants Martinez, Chavez, Jr.

GGG gonna roll Curtis Stevens up and smoke him. Early.
  18. Re: Wilder The Latest Hope To Save US Heavyweight Boxing

Not buying Wilder's hype. He's Shannon Briggs 2.0 until he fights a live body.
  19. Re: Pacquiao vs. Mayweather: Who’s Best of the Era?

Floyd can punch, but pulls his punches because he has a history of hand problems. He cried after the Carlos Hernandez fight, showing the camera his swollen mitt. If he breaks his hand going for a KO...
  20. Re: Did Bradley Do Enough Versus Marquez To Get Mayweather's Attention?

Desert Storm did more than Amir Kahn (who is rumored to get the fight with Floyd in May) that's for dog-gone sure. He'd still be a 10-1 dog against the former Pretty Boy.
  21. Re: “This Was Not a Precise Version of Wladimir Klitschko”

It's a testament to Toney's skills that we're talking about a 5'10" natural light heavyweight beating 6'6" Wlad, that's just how good he was when motivated.
  22. Re: “This Was Not a Precise Version of Wladimir Klitschko”

Lights Out Toney was #1 contender in 03-04, and it's fair to say both brothers ducked him. Hard to imagine Toney winning back then, but he would have been by far the best fighter they'd ever been in...
  23. Re: “This Was Not a Precise Version of Wladimir Klitschko”

Wlad catches a lot of deserved flak for his style, but let's not forget the timid manner in which Lennox Lewis beat Holyfield and David Tua (his biggest threats) to name two. I forgive him those...
  24. Re: Klitschko – Povetkin Final Odds : Inside the Red Square, Looking Out

Anybody tempted to pick Povetkin may want to watch his recent fights. He's there for Klitschko's jab all night, which means he's there for the right hand bomb after it. Once again the drama lies in...
  25. Re: PREDICTION PAGE: Wladimir or Povetkin?

    Klitschko wins BIG.
