Roach Mocks Mayweather Pool Party

 Mayweather Pool

“FLOYD TRAINING IN A SWIMMING POOL IS A SIGN

HE KNOWS MANNY IS TAKING HIM INTO DEEP WATER.”

– World-Famous Freddie Roach

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (April 7, 2015) – SACRÉ BLEU! We have all heard of France’s New Wave style of filmmaking but has FLOYD “Money” MAYWEATHER decided to incorporate New Wave training into his preparations for his battle against Fighter of the Decade Congressman MANNY “Pacman” PACQUIAO or is he just a fish out of water? Their welterweight world championship unification battle takes place Saturday, May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

By the looks of the footage Mayweather posted on his Instagram account http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/boxing/9793142/floyd-hits-the-pool it seems like the undefeated reigning welterweight and super welterweight world champion is underwater from the pressure of his impending battle with the man he has finally been forced to fight — eight division world champion and boxing superhero Pacquiao!

“Sounds like we should start calling him Floyd “Flipper”Mayweather,” said Hall of Famer and seven-time Trainer of the Year World-Famous Freddie Roach. “Team Mayweather would be wise to add a lifeguard to their corner on fight night because Manny is taking ‘Mr. 47 and 1’ into deep water. Swimming lessons or whatever he thinks he is doing will not help him survive the shark-infested waters he will be entering on May 2. I’m betting his little buddy Justin Bieber will be walking him into the ring singing this: ”

Promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Top Rank Inc., the Mayweather-Pacquiao live pay-per-view telecast will be co-produced and co-distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View® and SHOWTIME PPV® beginning at9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.

The man he has finally been forced to fight ! I thought a couple months ago CBS would force this fight, but sometimes reading TSS, some posters say Mayweather wanted this fight all along ? I have to agree with the article, Mayweather was finally forced into this fight !

-stormcentre :

Surely this must mean Floyd is scared and will lose. There can (surely) be no other explanation and/or interpretation. I wonder if he is swimming in "bad" water, in the same way as he was chopping "bad" wood. Just kidding. :) Seriously though . . . . . if nothing else it shows Floyd is serious about this fight and that (as he should) he considers Pacquaio a (reasonable, if not serious) threat.

-amayseng :

Roach can get carried away with the theatrics but I have no problem with some talk to hype and keep the intrigue flowing to fight night. My question is if changing training techniques will be beneficial or not to Floyd. Obviously swimming is about the best thing you can do when it comes to working out, I am just wondering if he is over training especially with Ariza working with him now and not knowing his ability to recovery long term, through a camp. Floyd's conditioning has always been flawless, it is truly one of his gifts and a result of such dedication and consistency. I am just curious to whether Ariza and his ideas will be beneficial or detrimental to a 38 year old. Being 36 I have to train and workout much differently than even 33. Time will tell. Stamina and endurance are two different attributes, I just hope Floyd does not over train for this fight.

-Radam G :

Wow! Money May has really taken it back to old skool. I expect for him to be punching cow meat in the Slaughterhouse next, as the late, great Smokin' Joe Frazier did at the beginning of his career. Don't respond, haters and posers. I know that you believe that it came from Big Screen Rocky Balboa. But you are dead incorrect. Holla!

After Lil Floyd is KTFO. He and the gang will fired Alex Ariza. And say that Money May was over trained. If any of this stuff is real that Lil Floyd is shopping to social media, his arse is in deep, deep kimche. His body has not had enough time to turn the stress of his new-found training into body-building benefits. This syet is tearing that 38-year-old body of Money May up. Anybody who knows an iota about training knows that Money May is not building up syet. He is tearing down Rome -- I mean his body muscles. And he is in a situation where he does not have enough time to get the building-back-up benefit of them even in this time of accelerating technology of the whole nine. And in the actuality of the reality, he is fronting and shopping this syet to cover up his using of falling Angel "Memo" Heredia's USADA undetectable PEDs and steroid syet. No worry, though! Vampire Facial Floydoping/FloHulk will not find an iota of Hulkquez's full of dat syet hit-da-one-shot-punch-lotto success. Money May is probably going to come to dat squared jungle looking double Hulk. Holla!

Floyd's conditioning routine was top notch. He is adding all these new exercises to his routine and it might back fire. I wonder what his dad is saying about Ariza and his training methods.

A man who truly wants to win doesnt spend his time blabbing all over the web .... Leave those childish activites to talented but imature fighters like Amir Khan. Why talk about it when you can be about it? I think its important for fighters to shake things up a little and return to their roots to awaken things in their spirit that has lied dormant beneath the dust of forgotten belts and years of routine maintenance. Floyd mentioned in a video not too long ago that he chopped wood when he was 12 years old to the age of about 19, ....then for some inexplicable reason he just left it as he went on to other things. Doing activities that your not familiar with can make you even more familiar with things you do know well and may have become complacent with. For instance its like spending a few days writing with the left hand. When you finally go back to writing with the right hand again it feels both more comfortable and new at the same time. As if something special has been awakened. When Flord fought Canello he asked his dad if he should continue with the roadwork and calisthenics...Pops told him that he was ready .... Just take it easy the final days leading up to the fight and Floyd looked tremendous in that fight. (it aired on showtime 360) For Mayweather this is like going for the Gold again ( which he won so impressively that the ref raised his hand before the judges decision was even announced...only to have the judges announce a bogus call which reduced him to a bronze medalist instead going to the championship round). The desire to win is still there as well as a healthy fear of losing which every champion should fully embrace during an epic challenge of this magnitude.

Da real real buzzing on the pugvine is that Ariza is just a glorified water boy and massage therapist out of the view of Big Floyd. To the media, The Money Team and Big Floyd closed-lipped about even discussing Ariza. Holla at this video of how Big Floyd almost slipped and spilled the beans:
->https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wjEn_2fqNvI. And holla at what he said that he was going to do to Ariza is he saw him in camp. Lil Floyd told his pops not to talk to the media about Ariza after seeing this video, so says the rumors coming from Camp Lil Floyd:
->https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1l3tiTNddWA Most of the time, PJM and Ariza are not in camp at the same time or working with Lil Floyd at the same time. Holla!

-deepwater2 :

Its a nice change of pace not to see fake weed parties and the other rhetoric we have come to expect. Big Floyd wants to beat the hell out of Ariza. Will Ariza be in the corner with Garcia n Big Floyd? Not a good idea.

What is the big deal with Money May fake chopping wood? And then saving face with public relations for his at-first-take fakery? Wood chopping, climbing trees, and rope swinging trees have always been a part of boxing from the start 3,000-plus year ago in Egypt, Greece and Rome. Here goes that video, B-Sug.
->https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RwFJM0LqriY. Much luv to Lil Floyd for coming bytch clean. He is faking a lot of syet. So when his bytch arse comes inside dat squared jungle full of dat syet, his fateful following will make alibis that he got that new thicker body from old skool boxing know-how. Yup! NYET! The old skool pugs were built like swimmers and tennis players, not Hulks and super Hercules-es. Lil Floyd is just setting the stage for his arse coming into dat squared jungle as FloHulk. But that is all right. He is going to get his smacked down and into defeat. Holla!

From faking smoking weed, and pugs fighting to the near death in dat squared jungle -- the Dogg pound in Mayweather's gym -- to faking wood chopping and knocking out all his sparring weaklings. I'm surprised that Money May did not have a fake-arse bloodied alligator and some fake flesh-eating pariahs in that over-sized jacuzzi. GTFOH, Team May's public relations team! Holla!

Great post B-suge. So you are on board with Ariza S&C? I think it was Arizas first or second camp with Maidana when he fought broner and MM came out like a demon for 10 of the 12 rounds. obviously its a different situation with Floyd(age, other variables) but Ariza does have the savvy to peak a fighter. Floyds case might be a weird one because his stamina is something he almost ALWAYS has over his opponent.

Thanks man.... Ariza's input is minimal... He's there to make Roach divulge his strategy and be a source of irritation..... but he really doesnt need it. Thats why Roach is always trying to debunk the source by making the Floyd camp think they have a totally new plan... Just In case Floyd has based his training on Ariza's information. Which Team Floyd is not going to do. But again Team Mayweather doesnt need it but it helps to know a little something nobody else knows about your opponent. Manny's working on a body attack. Manny's ready for the right hand. Manny's been working his abs. Manny's been working on his footwork. Manny's eating a balanced breakfast. And so forth. Of course he has...and he should be... Which is what all fighters should be doing ... But its what Roach is not saying that camp Floyd hears the loudest. I'm sure Floyd has probably gleaned a few tips from Ariza....like how food metabolizes in the body and what foods work best in combination of other foods to help the body expend the maximum amount of energy... When to eat and when not to eath those thousand dollar plates ...etc....but its probably just the peripheral stuff at best. A world calibre athlete doesnt let the new guy run roughshod into his camp to turn his whole world upside down......and a world class conditioning-coach/nutritionist wont try to.... He'll just ease him into it little by little if the champ feels comfortable and believes it will do some good.

-Radam G :

Team Money May is using every public relations's trick of the trade, except for latter movement of those "Curse of 38-year-old" bad legs. Dude's footwork is lacking nowadays. Big deal he hit the bag 1,400 in four minutes while standing still.
->https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EA7eneudYWcDA. Da Manny hits the heavy bag 1,500 in three minutes while circling and moving latterly and in and out.

SPF, if you are going to be in Sin City, stay away high places. I don't want you to jump off any high building after your boy Lil Floyd is beat within inches of his life. Hehehe! Holla!

-SouthPawFlo :

With a fight as polarizing as this, I can people of the Board changing their Screen names or even leaving the board all together if their favorite fighter takes a bad loss... Hopefully it's a close, tough hard nosed fight, and the public demands a rematch, If it's a whitewash either way, I don't know where they go from this next...

Don't bet on Floyd until that weekend. The odds are getting closer. If you think Floyd wins you will get a better line if you wait. Where you watching the fight? I'm staying with my friend who is a VIP host,he thought the high roller lounge,at the Cosmopolitan, would get the closed circuit but as of now he doesn't think it will happen. There goes my Johnny Walker Blue all night.

Greedy-arse Sin City is trying to have a closed-circuit black out of all hotels, hostels, motels, strip joints and rump digs. But don't worry. PPV geeky-with-it pirates are everywhere. Grease their palms with a Jackson. That's RIGHT! Not a Benjamin, but a Jackson. And you are in business. Lucky -- no bragging -- I have a ringside seat to see the Mayvince code broken and Money May BEAT! Moolah is going to be running more than sweat. So ev'ybodee and dey momma and Miss Jones and Big Ernie E, better get in their bet [sic]. Holla!

Somewhere along the line that Pacquaio chin is gunna get tagged and chin-checked. When it happens, I am not sure whether the disbelief on Manny's face will be better than the grief and/or "disbelgrief" on his fan's faces; but one thing's for sure - it will be entertaining. :)

You hit that one outta da park. Readers in the old Universe did that after Da Manny was on the tear of scorching and torching arses back in da day before 2010. Oh, YUP! Most Pac-haters left the University and come back ever-so often. The others changed their reader's pseudonyms and caused chaos like possessed-by-Lucifer he bytches. Editor Mike had to blocked them out. Holla!

Roach, IMO, should take a leaf out of Manny's humble book, and calm down on the promotion and (almost) constant $hit talk. One of the coolest things about Pakcow is that he fights like an octopus caught in a hurricane, but is humble and in that sense the polar opposite of Floyd. Besides, Pac's side already have Top Rank for $hit talk . . whoops I mean promotional duties.

Bringing in Ariza is irrefutable evidence that Floyd is worrried and not confident. Why else would a man bring in another mans strength trainer other than he feels a void needed filled to be confident. It shows extreme weakness. Extreme. Kinda embarrassing in a way especially being that the fight was not made until he had Ariza on his side. Very weak

Is there a chance that Floyd did it because he believes it will give him a psychological edge and/or to stop Pac juicing and/or doing whatever it was he was doing with Ariza that both Roach and Arum have now accepted/admitted?
