Tim Lane No Longer Thinks Mayweather Would Crush Pacquiao

It is all theoretical, until the timekeeper whacks the bell, and they get cracking.

Tim Lane thought Manny Pacquiao was solid, sure, more than solid, even.

He didn’t think his kid Chris Algieri would roll over The Congressman, he didn’t think he’d cruise control his way to a dominating win over the Filipino icon…but neither did he think Pacman would score six knockdowns and win most every minute of most rounds in their Nov. 22 scrap in Macau.

But now, now Lane knows better. He’s seen it, up close, painfully up close, in fact. And now, the tutor has found himself re-thinking a theory he’d been holding on to up till the night Manny did his thing, in true Pacmaniacal fashion, against the Long Islander.

“I thought that Floyd would crush Manny if they ever fought,” Lane told me, before admitting he thought it quite possible that possibility made Team Pacquiao hesitant to truly go after a Floyd fight. “But now, seeing him personally…Manny Pacquiao is a different guy in person. I watched so many of his fights, I thought we had a great plan set. He’s an A grade fighter, one of the best of his era. Manny Pacquiao is great.”

So yes, it’s safe to say Tim Lane doesn’t think Manny would get crushed by Floyd if and when they do make a deal to square off. Not in the least…

Tim Lane is no dumb man. With every bizarre thing he has said, he has a plan. It's a crazy one, but never the less, it is a master plan. Of course he thought that Money May would destroy Da Manny until he saw him in live and in living color action. Money May has been smart. But if he keep listen to all this dumb spit about him easily beating Da Manny, he will up. MISTAKE!!! He will get knocked double fudge out like a mestizo Pinoy did the "Black Mamba" snake. Oh, YES! Rocky Lockridge put Uncle Roger too sleep in less than a round. And it has scared the Mayweather fam for two generations. Hehehe! Money May doesn't want any of what Da Manny will put on him. Holla!

he beats him like a red headed stepchild and whoever doesn't think so dksab

Know your lane. And that life is not a candy cane. Believe! And yourself, success you can receive. Deceive! And mass failure, you will conceive. That work with Da Manny is for Money May. KTFO, for nobody is he going to lay. So in his lane, he is going to stay.

Lane is right about one thing anyhow !

Tim Lane has received an education. It's a step in the right direction for him. He sounds less delusional at least. Floyd would have many problems against Manny. The Mayweather version of the Philly crab shell is open to a southpaw style like Pac's. Floyd might have to be on his bike most of the fight and Roach knows all about Floyd's lead right hand and would have counter measures in place. Floyd would not have an easy time with Pac. There are so many jokes I can make about Floyd beating a red headed step child I can't even pick one.

The saga continues. Money May is the excuse merchant of bulljive. With his make-believe syet for not fighting Da Manny, we are on year five. Money May doesn't want to mix. In 2015, we be on year six.

Year six? If ya boy woulda took the test, they would've fought twice already. Instead, he turned around and sued the same guy who he -- literally -- took money under the table from, packaged in a nice little briefcase. #coldwar

What did Pac possibly do to deserve being bullied and slandered into taking a test? Pac was always a one punch killer. Name one thing that was out of character that would justify Floyd's BS roid allegations? Please list them so I can have an idea of why Floyd began crying wolf.

The fight against Miguel Cotto raised their suspicions. Pacquiao's reaction to the test request -- as Stormcentre has pointed out -- concerned and convinced them fully. Though it didn't make sense to me at the time (I thought he was scared), if a man is convinced his opponent is juicing, then he has a right to ask for the test. I can definitely understand that. The best thing Pacquiao could've done was take the test and just whoop the sh*t out of Mayweather. That would've silenced all the suspicions before they could even get legs AND made Mayweather look like an idiot. Not saying he was doing anything, but his actions just led to increased suspicion across the board.

Not trying to justify or insert my personal opinion in answering your question or saying whether their suspicions were right or wrong, I'm simply sharing their position.
