Ralph Gonzalez ... at The Sweet Science
Ralph Gonzalez grew up as a fan after having a number of family
members involved in the sport as boxers in the amateur and
professional ranks. Raised in North San Diego County, Ca, attended San
Diego State, graduated from the University Of Southern California with
a B.A. in English and attended graduate school at Loyola Marymount
University in Los Angeles where he took studies in their M.F.A.
program. After college graduation and a baby on the way, he started
working with much success as a corporate headhunter while pursuing his
graduate degree. Was one of the first internet boxing writers with
fightnews.com starting in 2000 where he interviewed many of the boxing
world's brightest stars. He's married with two boys and currently
working on several writing projects.
