Freddie probably tried to get Manny to wear the Batman costume, 'cause Coach Roach knows he's in the Robin role. Regardless...toss up your own caption!

SUPERHEROES BATMAN AND PACMAN

CREATE HALLOWEEN HAVOC FOR COTTO!

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF.  (Halloween 2009) -- Millionaire playboy Freddie Roach and mild-mannered politician Manny Pacquiao revealed their secret identities at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood today!  Now the whole world knows that Roach and Pacquiao are really the dynamic duo of Batman and Pacman, boxing's true superheroes!

“Riddle me this.  Why will Miguel Cotto be like a top when he fights Manny Pacquiao on November 14?  Because Cotto will go down spinning after Manny starts landing his jawbreakers!” said three-time Trainer of the Year, World-Famous Freddie Roach

#1 PacFan "KO's Cotto in 7":  "Manny, where's your costume?" "It's fight time." "Thanks but no thanks Freddie, I don't need a special made suit or performance enhancement to showcase my special abilities." "It's all natural strength sir."

Real Talk:  Pacman's speed kills most, but if Cotto's keeps his hands high then he'll get the minimum dose. I see Cotto's high gaurd frustrating, puzzling, befuddling, a sledgehammer jab slaps the crowd with muzzling. Cotto needs to trade shots and counterpunch if he really wants to take the Pac's lunch. Pac wil try to stick n move and be hard to hit, so Cotto guard your grill or your eye get's split. No doubt in my mind this is the fight of the year. These two warriors I respect, and the day after that won't change ,two greats of our era are definatly gone bang !!! Respect to Cotto and Pacquiao !!! Dueces

Fe'Roz :  You're drinking too much of your own Kool-Aid if you think you can fool Miguel into wearing THAT into the ring?.

brownsugar:  #suggestion (A).... Manny to Freddie Roach,... " I hope you have something special for me in that Utility belt of your's,.. Cotto doesn't look like he'll be as drained as we thought he'd be",.. #suggestion (B)... Manny says to Freddie " When (if) I fight Mayweather,..I hope you wear your Joker costume,.. you already know how that'll turn out".

MisterLee:  Is it me or is 24/7 getting too poetic? SInce when was boxing the "tango"? since when does the "story behind the fighter" matter more than the training and actually fights? I guess eps. 2 was for the non-boxing fans, the mainstream audience to get their attention since they already have the hardcore fans. Still tho, tho, it does beat fight camp 360 for super six. how do you bore a crowd? Interview the promoters, ALL six of them, in their bask of boredom and lack of charisma, and old, and groaning. Hahaha. pc!

Fe'Roz :  Mister Lee, Give HBO, one of the more 'interesting' or less-boring promoters a chance to promote the fight as they see best. Remember, 'Up Close and Personal' style reporting from the Olympics created ODLH and many others. we need to broaden the audience to get back on network....and re-gain the respect and coverage for Boxing. Now only if Manny could keep growing.........

bill major:  i just cant get cotto being dropped by torres out of my mind. if or should i say when pac catches miguel with a jawbreaker and he starts to wobble pacquiao will finish the job. he is just getting better and better and cotto isnt.no matter what our opinions he isnt improving like pacquiao and that is going to be the differance here. ill crawl across the ring if cotto wins this one! sadley i like both guys . did you all catch perez and obeka last night? what a fight huh? wow!

brownsugar:  if Manny hit me with full force,.. I'm sure I'd be counting sheep,.. and I'm over 200lbs,,... but as hard as Manny punches,.. I can't imagine him hitting harder than Torres,.. Hatton got hit on the point of the chin,.. while fighing the dumbest fight of his career,. truthfully,.. he was never "into it",..and seemed generally perturbed with his training arrangement for that fight,.. not to mention his overall conditioning was very suspect due to his ongoing see-saw battle with beer-battered cod and pints of Guiness.... If Cotto can still focus while bringing his usual "Will To Win",.. this will be a spectacular fight,. if the weight doesn't drain him,.. Cotto will try to walk Pacman down,.. while imposing his greater strength,.. Cottos is always best when he fights offensively(hell, he stood up to Mosely untill the later rounds),.. but if he starts second guessing his punches and becoming cautious,.. Manny will pick him apart and beat him worse than Margarito......Manny is the ultimate opportunist in the ring....

Isaiah:  Manny Pacquiao says: Holy bat signals people! One of the few guys in the world more popular than me! Hey, where'd Freddie Roach go?! You all heard of crime stopping there when Manny fights? Now you know why! (BATMAN MUSIC PLAYS) Roach MAN! Oh wait, that didn't sound right... HA!

arturo:  Wtf is Isaiah talking about?I agree with Brownsugar commenting about Cottos offense if he stays determined. Why would Roach show Manny getting hit and then telling him to take it more serious on a show that many people are watching

2009 Reader Of The Year Weighs In On Legacies Of Pacquiao And Mayweather
"Pacquiao has proven....in the ring... time and time again that he is the greatest of this time. He has earned his respect. He begs for nothing. He is a man content with his growth, his family and his achievements. A man the world has now turned it's eyes to behold. Floyd Mayweather is not even close in stature. He may possess the greatest skills but he is not the Face of Boxing today. Google Manny Pacquiao. There are 20 million searches. Google Floyd. There are 6.5 million. Look at the NYTimes, the Wall Street Journal and Time. Count how many words were used these past years to mention Floyd Mayweather. Then count the words still being printed about Manny. And keep counting. As I've said many times, Floyd has been too clever by half. He has short changed his public.....and has out-smarted himself. Manny will fight but a few more times. Enjoy it while you can. He is an all time great pugilist. Floyd, with all of his remarkable skills lack the will to be truly great in the biggest sense of the word. His legacy will look more like Holmes that Ali. He has earned it." ---November is half-way gone, but we don't need to keep counting ballots. It's a landslide. Fe'Roz has won the 2009 Reader of the Year award. His comments add to the website immeasurably, and he epitomizes the thoughtful, respectful, educated fan of pugilism we strive to cater to at TSS. Congrats, Fe'Roz, and please accept my thanks for being the valued member of this community that you are. Sincerely, Editor Mike
