Time will tell if pac is on of the GOAT and I believe he will be. I can't believe that a writer will take the time to write what is good news and bad news. If don't like what you read then don't read them, but don't make a fuss about it because don't like it. For you to make your point makes it worse than the people that you are writing about. In essence, you are a hypocrite.

I'm a big Cotto fan, but I'm sorry to say that Pacquiao is just a much better fighter. He may not have the power and body punching abilities that Cotto has, but he is much more skilled in other aspects of his fighting such as his hand speed and quickness to move in and out of punches. Cotto is a great fighter which is why I believe he has a punchers chance of hurting PAC MAN! But the longer the fight goes on, the more Manny will be able to exploit the Puerto Rican of his weaknesses. With Manny throwing punches in bunches, he is sure to open up one of the old cuts Cotto has had in the past. I have never been so excited for a Pacquiao fight, but then again, Pac Man continues to schedule fights with fighters of higher statute. It is great to see two great fighters putting their careers on the line in order to bring more excitement to boxing. So until November 14, all we can do is post comments of thoughts and theories until the truth comes out in the ring.

I guess it's all apart of moral,.. and supplying raw material to the hype factory,.. I mean Castillo was getting bloody noses when he was in his prime,.. a very good but always hittable fighter he was I see the fans are lapping it up,.... at least Pacman has some former world champs,... current champs,.. top contender and amateurs working him over to get him prepared,.. I'm concerned about Cotto,.. who is down to just 2 sparring partners,.. one is 7-1-1,.. and the other is 9-3-1.. even I can afford better partners than that,... Cotto should be able to get 2or 3 guys fresh of the 2008 Olympic team,... anyway,.. just seeing the hype,...."PACMAN HAD A GREAT DAY IN TRAINING CAMP",.. serves as a reminder that the big fight is less than one month away...I hope Cotto sorts all the negativity out of his camp,.. cause I don't wanna see another mismatch,.. GO COTTO,...

This craze of checking fighters sparring for insight is worthless. I was sparring for my fight tomorrow afew weeks ago against a Georgian fella who's skills are very 'modest' to be kind and he caught me with a great shot to my throat, did he drop me? No. Did it hurt like hell? Yes. Would he last 3 rounds with me in a competitive fight? HELL NO...

i in no way believe cotto will quit to a smaller man and i would be one of the first to say that he quit to margarito(im my opinion not bc of the plaster but how margartio ate all his punches with a smile and kept coming. i think this fight will be the fight that could get cotto back to 100 percent mentally and really spring board a focussed cotto to a possible win over mayweather. i like cotto as a fighter but i think he lost his confidence which means a lot. i this fight cotto is the bigger man with great skill level and his power imo will give him the confidence to ko pacman. if pacman wins he is the best bar none.

Superelitefightwriter F-Lo is just on his J-O-B. Too bad that Cotto is keeping Camp Cotto secret because of his chaotic life and PTSD. Reporting from pugilists' camps can be very enlightening. Yall ought appreciate that F-Lo is reconning for you. This way you will not be surprise when the actions starts on Nov. 14, and doesn't go almost like you thought or hope that it would. What happens to JLC, concerning Manny, is window of how well he is going to tear up Miguel. I bet you guys don't have a clue. Cotto's left jab and left hook are going to get him kayoed very early. How many rounds did Ricky go? Two! Well, don't be surprised about how Ricky may have just outdone Miguel. Holla!

Cotto must step up his preparation for this fight. He NEEDS 2 SPARRING MATES AT THE SAME TIME to really feel how it is to fight Pacquiao. Fighting Pacquiao is like fighting a Mountain Lion. He KO's all of those guys made to fight him. Barrera is the smartest. Cotto must study the tape the 2nd time Barrera fought Pacquiao. Although MAB survive a kd in the 10th, at the end of the bout he wasn't lying on the canvas. That's the closest Cotto can do. HIt, clinch, hit and clinch survive a KO.

Guys, Frank is well within his rights to come down on what he believes to be overblown hype surrounding Manny. And I think he's right--some folks do go overboard with breathless reports about relatively inconsequential happenings, like the bloody nose. And I put up the headline, and meant it as a satiric jab. That may have been lost in translation. Frank gives opinions, and I'm a little taken aback by the vehemence some of the commenters fire insults at him. The language is harsh, and many comments I can't put up, because they contain expletives. I ask those folks to consider their actions, and try and communicate with appropriate ire. Get fiesty, but keep it clean, and reasoned.

True, Castillo is past his prime and this is just a sparring match, but this is still impressive. Manny's doing what he's supposed to be doing. I like Manny, but I'm probaly in the minority who think Cotto is not damaged goods. Believe me. Cotto would beat Margarito in a rematch and we should all be so tough to survive getting beatdown by such a cheating advantage for 11 rounds and beat Shane Mosley. Both Pacman's and Cotto resumes are top notch, but Cotto will win this.

I believe this fight is gonna be somewhat like the 2nd battle of paquiao and erik morales. Now that was a good war! Cotto as the much bigger man will not allow himself to be on the defensive even when Pac's attacking which is what Morales did in that fight. He would slug it out with Pacman. The difference this time is that Cotto has greater power than Morales but might not be as good defensively. Pac is much quicker now than then however, esp. with his lateral movements and hit & run tactics. I think Cotto's gonna get very bruised and bloodied after 8 rounds and might get TKO'd in the 10th. From rounds 1-X(4-6?) Cotto has a chance of KO'ing Manny (Depends on Cotto's conditioning..)After the 6th I don't think he'll be able to do anything to the Pacman.

I don't think there's anything wrong in writers reporting stuff like these. I don't think they are over-exaggerating with this incident. This is a great way to hype up a fight . Definitely better than drinking you own urine. I do sense a little bit of jealousy in F-Lo's part. Is it not a writers job to get the scoop of fighters camp. Writers are like papparazzis, but not like that stalking behavior they have. It's a writers job to write so just do it but to the rude ones trying to insult the writer your opinions are not valid. Wow! SuperEditor Mike, F-Lo definitely didn' strike pure gold. J-Lo could have gotten away with a nosebleed comment. Oops, OMG! My nose just started to gashing blood thinking about her assets. lmao! One time Manny had gas. Nature would let him hold it. The crowd lost its mind when Manny let go! "Naku! PacMan just farted! I didn't know the famous has gas," the fan in the crowd said. "He got a s____ing a$$ just like poor (fudgers)." Moral of the story is that regular things happening in chosen professions, the average Joe just doesn't know. And, his lack of education will make him feel like you are being condescending when you say, "SO! It happens all the time, it is just part of the business." But remember not to the knowledge of fans and fanfaronades. They have their own myths, just as some of TSS readers. You know they can get really spicy about routine things that those in the know know. Holla!

I spar. I got a bloodied nose one time. Nothing big, really.
The huge amount of media hype given to Castillo, when his nose got bloodied up by the Pacman, just proves that the "brand name" Manny Pacquiao sells.
The Pacman has gotten so big that his rain falls on the fans and the haters alike.
Pacman will KO Cotto in Rd 5.

Pacman will win this fight. No doubt. Once Cotto taste the fury of the Pacman, you'll see the difference as the fight goes on. Pacman on the 6th.

First of all let me give pacman his well deserved respects, he's a great fighter for sure. I want to mention also to all u pacman freaks will witness sad truth, y'all really think he is gonna be the victor on nov 14, cotto is not any of them fighters pacman faced even in there prime. Cotto gets no respect it highly seems. Y'all talkin pacman- pbf fight already like its goin down like that and its not, enough is enough.

This Isnt just a sparring, As far as i know, Freddie Roach, keeps on saying he still has the $1,000 cold cash, whoever knocks Manny on the canvass. What do you think the sparring mate will do, he will just stand there and be beaten. Of course he will do what is really the best for him. The only thing that differ from sparring and the real fight. In real scenario, you must finished your opponent, but in sparring you dont.
Maybe the news sounds exagerated but its not. b coz we only know how to critisize, and not to appreciate someones fulfillment.

to all who doubted Pacquiao, I hope you have all learned your lesson and admit that he is the current Pound for pound champion until Mayweather can prove otherwise!
