Rematch of the Year. Manny won the first, but got f-d on the scorecards due to the rampant incompetence of the judges when it comes to some of the nuances of judging a multiple knockdown round. I am not a Manny fanboy and think the JMM is a class act as well. Manny TKO 9. Anyone know if The Ring is going to award the 130 Ring Belt to the champ???

Marquez, by late round stoppage. Manny is at the point where money has become his #1, and Marquez is still looking for greatness. I agree, Pacquiao wins, if the one judge awards him the extra point, but, we all saw Marquez figure out the Pac Man after round 1. He took Manny to school, and I don't see anything in Manny's arsenal, except for a better right hand that would make it that much mor difficult for Marquez. He knows how to offset Manny's speed, and will put on another boxing lesson. "IF", and it's a big if, Manny wins, he goes onto my #1 P4P, no matter what Mayweather does against Hatton. Manny has taken on Elite, or Top Quality opposition since his first Barerra fight. I love both these guys, but i got to go w / Marquez.

i would'nt compare there first fight, manny hurt his hand in that fight that is why he did'nt follow up after round 1, it is a pick em fight , manny has improved techinically in his boxing skills but he also is less aggressive , at least he was against barrera. JMM is at the top of his game he looked sharp as can be against rocky jaurez. I think a big factor will be what version of manny paquiao shows up, if he shows up hungry and in shape and determined i will pick him to win. I am leaning towards manny by decision because i do not trust the chins of either of the marquez brothers , JMM tasted the canvas against barrera w snot a big puncher at 130. so i tink manny can hurt JMM and he knows it. i see manny winning with perhaps one or two knockdowns and also having JMM hurt at various times in the fight but not enough to ko him.

Blisters on the feet affected Pacman on their first fight. He was using a very thin socks that caused it and saved Marquez from the 4th and final KO. When a rematch were being negotiated Marquez chickened out, overpriced himself for the purse he would get as a an excuses to avoid the rematch. Pacquiao was a one dimensional then but sent Marquez butt reeling to the canvass three times. The only best Marquez can do is to show he is technically good but it's not gonna save him from a sure knock -out from a now very well polished p4p king Pacman. My forecast is a devastating KO by Pacman in the 4th.

I also saw him in a TV interview showing his his hurt hands and a blister on his foot as a proof that it really affect his fight agaisnt Marquez.. let's face it...marquez chickened out after the first fight with pacman. he was offered 750, 000 dollars for an immediate rematch but decided to fight in indonesia for $35, 000...and lost! now that he's old and nearing retirement, he almost begged pacman to fight him (although using reverse psychology in telling the press that pacman is afraid of him). and guess what, he took a huge paycut just to make this fight happen. he knows he can't beat pacman but he feels at his age (not to mention his poor marketability),this is his last chance at a big paycheck. pacman KO win in 10 rounds

Let's not take credit off both fighters. Pacquiao has tremendous courage, power and speed. His skills are not as polished and his chin hasn't been tested. Marquez is very smart with excellent skills , and respectable power as well. His chin is questionable. On Pacman vs. MAB II Pacman got hurt by MAB when they traded punches, MAB was just over-protecting himself so he wouldn't get knock out. On the other hand Marquez vs. MAB Marquez almost knock MAB out. If both fighters bring their A-game to the fight, Marquez should take it by a late round stoppage!!

its not true that marquez dominates from 2-12 rounds, i believe they won both 6 rounds, with manny dominating the 1st round. I believe marquez rallied from the middle round but the first and the latter part belongs to pacquiao. Marquez did not even knock down pacquiao even with an injured foot and hand, with limited defense, and only the left hand as primary weapon. Clearly pacquiao is much physically stronger fighter, very fast and talented. If marquez accepts the quick rematch he could have a chance but now manny has improve his defense and combination. marquez is claiming to be the winner in his 1st bout with paquiao. he is making a fool of himself despite one judge's acknowledgement that he indeed commited an error in his scoring. had it not for the error, pacquiao will officially be declared as the winner. marquez can run this time but he cant hide the missile and atomic bomb punches of paquiao. pacquiao will have to annihilate marquez within 5 rounds. poor marquez he shouldnt have fight pacquiao this time....

i admire marquez over barrera but he can never come close to erik morales. therefore.. Pacman will surely win this fight. Yes... on thier last fight with JMM, marquez dominated the last rounds after he was KOed on the first rounds. but, hey... that was when pacman was not that well rounded of a fighter back then. He is a complete fighter now. So i can say it will either be JMM Ko'ed on the early rounds.. that if he will exchange punches all the way. but if he will be in the cautious mode.. same with the Barrera last fight.. probably a decision still by pacman...

The last two fights of both fighters show who's going to win. Pacman gassed out and underperformed vs a patsy like Jorge Solis and an over-the-hill Barrera. Even if Pacman didn't train seriously and was only 80%, he still couldn't dominate a Barrera who was a shell of his former self. Marquez was more impressive vs Barrera and had him on the verge of being out in the 7th and completely took Juarez to school. Pacman's questionable (and laughable) forays into politics and showbiz have taken his edge. His colorful life outside boxing has given him distractions not needed by fighters preparing for the most dangerous opponent. As Erik Morales told Pacman when they shot a commercial in the Philippines, "If you want to serve your countrymen, there are many ways to do it outside politics. And only when you're done with boxing.Fighters only fight." Marquez is a pure fighter. Pacman needs to lose again to regain his edge. Marquez by UD.

nice comment ricky; but i think barrera was different after his fight with pacquiao , thats why marquez beat him, its true that paquiao has to manny errands, but a fighter is always a fighter. Few people has the gift that pacquiao has, only few people are destined for greatness and manny is one of those. , all analysis, predictions, odds may change with one big punch of manny. All big fighters that was beaten by manny they've changed bigtime (most of them retired JMM survived the first time based on luck, have you seen the swoolen foot of manny after their first fight, goosh I'm suprised that he can still walk. I think pacqiuao has a little edge of this fight, because he still on his prime. but if marquez can handle the power of paquiao, filipino people who is not a boxing fans but exclosively pacman fans will shock and shaken their heads with frustrations. honestly i want to bet with marquez but i hesitate because my money is not for wars right now..:) if this rematch happen early i bet all my money to marquez, but this time marquez is consider on his prime.... outcome will both either way... People says that Pacman is lucky in the second fight,my answer to those people that manny is not a lucky,instead JMM was lucky because Pacman gives him a chance to heart pacquiao,but for me it wasn't enough to convince the judge that he take it over the fight to Manny,its s little bit short for JMM & stop saying that 1 of the judges are they cheat,you don't do enough to win the fight againts my Idol pacman.I wanna see you JMM to fight Morales before you ask a rematch to pacman.

Marquez is a good boxer and all... but he never really hurt the pacman. Watch the rest of the rounds and you'll see. Pac has all aggression and has scored all the knockdowns.
