Thanks to the recent Mayweather fight I have finally emerged from the wilderness. A little stronger, a little wiser. I had previously ditched my cable carrier for approximately 6 months due to my personal protest over being forced to buy ridiculously useless programming bundles with excessively redundant content and it appears that i wasn't alone, Millions have ditched cable for the same reasons, upon my return I see the pricing has dropped. You no longer have to subscribe for a year or sign contracts with expensive early termination penalties. They even pay your disconnect fees to subscribe. Cell phone carriers are following suit. You probably already knew that. Why am I mentioning this? Because I now have a perfectly valid crutch,.... I mean excuse, to hold onto cable so I can watch the "Walking Dead", ... I mean the Golovkin fight. And because my initial installment arrangement was breached, ....because, as with most large customer service based operations, the average employee doesn't know the extent of their own individual authority or the limits of company policy, they inadvertently failed to fulfill my expectations thus creating an opportunity to provide satisfaction. I'm not the kind of guy who beats up on customer service reps, or screams unnecessarily in an effort to hustle a freebee.....my complaint was valid .....so I escalated to management and spoke to someone who emphasized with my incident and is sending me a $300 gift card to cover the inconvenience. Very professional As a result I'm looking forward to watching GGG put some serious hurt on Lemieux. Lemieux made the mistake of letting an errant comment slip between his lips that I'm sure has gotten the absurdly polite Golovkin's attention. He said and I quote " I saw fear in his eyes ". Personally I would like to know what GGG hasnt seen in nearly 400 fights that would cause him fear other than Mayweather? ( just kidding). And I'm starting to wonder if joy looks like fear in Canada?

Yes, when I read (Lemieux said) that I, too, smiled and thought; "hmmmm . . . David, get yourself together . . . I think you're not only not used to how relaxed and calm a guy like 3G can be leading up to a fight - but also going to regret saying that. :) :)

I can easily see Marraito fighting either of these guys, or Cotto (again) and Canelo. :) :)

Marraito = Margarito :)

Recently Ward addressed Golovkin as Little "g" and accused him of the fabrication of mis- truths and the sin of ducking a challenge. In a subsequent, related article, I heard one of several of GGG's responses, ....it was the first time I ever heard GGG using profanity. In another article he said Ward was lying and "as a man, Ward is dead to him". Both Ward and Golovkin are developing some bad blood, and personally they both seem like men of integrity, so if they do fight later down the line, it will be the " Mother " of pay per views. So will Ward vs Kovalev. Margarito had better not attempt to fight anyone in the top 50 for now....lol.

I dont mean it will set records but it would be the true definition of Superfight.

It is difficult to determine a fighter's abilities until the fighter has been tested against all styles and ability levels. We know, for example, that Lemieux hits hard but we also know that he has lost against less than top tier fighters. Not so for Golovkin. He has fought about 335 amateur fights while loosing five. It is difficult for me to envision that has not successfully fought every style imaginable. As a pro, he has proven himself to be lethal, racking up the highest percentage of KO'S recorded for a middleweight.He is relentless,punches hard and at a high volume, seems to possess a complete arsenal of firepower. and is always in superb shape. I suspect that Lemieux will pay dearly for saying he saw fear in GGG's eyes. My guess is that Lemieux's eyes will be out of focus in about nine rounds, or less.
