I just went with my wife to meet her friends for brunch over there. Its right near Katz's. It would have been funny to see those boxers in a chef hat. Too many tourists looking to spot someone in there. Thank God we escaped to Bar Pitti.

Quillin should of stayed away from "Chopped", and put in more work on the exercise bike or the sauna. Quillin will inspire many many more jokes in the boxing world. Thanks Kid Chocolate.

The best week of fights yet from PBC... Even though the fighters are too heavy for the fights to count ...the matchups promise to be entertaining. Quillin has always been a big middleweight.. He's also fought in the division a few times. I'm not surprised he's growing into a heavier division. I bet GGG would spot him a few pounds. I respect Quillin for sitting it out with his dying uncle... I hear they were close. Not to take anything away from Quillin....but if it were my family member, I like to believe that I would've wanted to send them off with some big time professional boxing excitement during their fleetting last days on earth. Quillin can still make it count this weekend with a good performance. I consider Lee the better fighter but Quillin will have the size advantage and the confidence of knowing that Lee has had some bad days days in the ring at times.

I love to cook and I like watching Chopped when I get the chance. The show is flawed in my view. They start out with four Chefs. The first round is an appetizer. The worst dish gets chopped. Now we are down to Three chefs. The entree round is next, loser is chopped, now we are down to two chefs. Third round is desserts. The end pisses me off. The judging at the end now should be, in my opinion, whoever makes the best dessert wins. The judging here on Chopped is about the appetizer, the entree and the dessert all together as a whole, deciding the winner. After the first two rounds being judged on their own why is the last round lumped in with the first two??? Convoluted judging if you ask me, just like boxing.
