Davai Ruslan ty chempion mira!! Some talk has been heard that the fight with Lucas is on for Mar 28. Lucas will be flattened within 2 rounds. He hasn't got the chin but he can recuperate pretty fast.. But a blow from Ruslan isn't like one from Molina... YOU STAY HIT!

Hehehe! True dat! TSR will put a pug on queer street. Holla!

More I think about this fight more I get excited. This has so much potential to be a great fight, I just hope Ruslan keeps it short and ends the night early, for his sake and Matthysse's.

Fight of the Year right here, gentlemen. I like La Maquina by decision; I think he'll outmove the flat-footed Russian, but stay in close enough to bang, coming in at angles that straight-ahead Provodnikov can't handle. However it turns out, this one's a barn burner. Can't hardly wait.

-Pazuzu :

BTW, that backpack Ruslan's carrying through the airport is full of raw moose liver.

That's a bold choice, the two biggest bangers in the division going the full distance?! Surely it get's stopped on grounds of mercy for one of the fighters, because they'll both be coming to leave every ounce of themselves in the ring if needs be. He's got underrated boxing pedigree but it's being overplayed. He's not that good a boxer. Pressure will burst his pipe.

They are both bangers and they are tough as nails. Neither has ever been knocked out. I don't think Ruslan has ever even been knocked down. Lucas is not a finesse boxer, but I think he has enough just enough skills and mobility to get an edge on Ruslan. So yeah, I can see it going the distance, but a knockout is still a good possibility. This is pretty close to a pick 'em fight. But one way or another, there will be blood.

You're right he hasn't but he has been close admittedly. Ruslan is there to be hit, but he's not as crude as is portrayed more often than not. There's method behind his pressure. Sometimes he is guilty of following his opponents around the ring, sometimes he is guilty of only seeing a head and no body, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Ruslan, who should be a two weight world champion, does find his opponents and when he does they fold! As fans we're always fast to say, this guy doesn't do this enough or that guy doesn't do that, but no two guys who step in the ring have the exact same traits or abilities so it's expected they won't fight in the same style. Ruslan is going in there with one thing on his mind, and that's to beat his opponent into submission "via" an overwhelming amount of pressure that forces their opponent to take a knee. Now unless you're el Maestro and you can dance or you've got the same cast iron jaw and unbreakable heart like Bradley - you will crack!!! We've seen 'The Machine' go down numerous times in a single bout, we've seen him fail to fight through a semi closed eye on the big stage. He's tasted defeat, but not robberies. He found a determined Molina when he fought him, but Molina was supposed to be left out to dry by The Machine but it never happened. Ruslan hits on a whole different scale to Molina, and like a true bully once he's got you by the neck he's not letting go... Man I can't wait for this, I envy those who are going to be watching this live in the stadium... What a fight!!

You make a strong case, Skibbz. Hopefully the fight gets made this week, and on March 28, we shall see!
