ALGIERI: “Finding Way To Win Always Been a Major Part of My Style, Strategy”

Algieri Blog Part 4: Friday, November 14

Question for Chris Algieri: Which one of your victories taught you the most about overcoming obstacles inside the ring?

“My 10th pro bout against Julius Edmonds. I went into the fight with a sore right hand and then broke my left hand in the 2nd round. Finding a way to win has always been a major part of my style and strategy. I didn’t even tell my coaches I was injured until after the fight. I finished the fight with a 4th round KO and that truly was one of the biggest obstacles if not the biggest I have ever had to overcome.

“And let’s not forget in my most previous fight against Ruslan Provodnikov. I made a mistake in the first round and I paid for it. I was forced to pay the price and fight the remainder of the fight with a badly swollen eye. But, I still found a way to win. Sticking to the game plan, and staying focused in times of adversity, that’s what separates me from other fighters. My mental make-up and my mental strength has always been the difference in my fights, and that is what will propel me once again to victory on November 22nd.”

NICE TRY! What a bunch of CRAP! Actually against Julius Edmonds was C-Al's 11th pro bout. And the crackheaded Edmonds had a 7-10 record. And was known to throw fights and take dives. Matter of fact, he was finally suspended from boxing after his trumped-up knocked-out-by-C-Al dive -- I mean scrap. The dive/scrap against C-Al's was Edmonds's fifth lost in a row. I will give it up to C-Al. He is on his TsOTT to sell himself and this bout. I'm beginning to believe that a lot of those muthasuckas born every minute are going to holla at those $75-a-pop paid per views. OMG! I ain't hating C-Al! He aims to get PAID nicely and largely for the arsh thrashing that Da Manny is going to deal out to him. Wow! And on the pugvine, you have some crazy-arse haters actually thinking that C-Al is the coming of a boksing Jesus. Hehehehehehehehehehehehe! I'm cracking straight UP! These punch drunk clowns and fools are calling C-Al "the redeemer" and "resurrection of boxing." Wow! One week to go. And THEN it is all going to be over. And C-Al will start his fade to black. Holla!

ALGIERI: "Finding Way To Win Always Been a Major Part of My Style, Strategy" TYSON: "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." Algieri is a great talker and and he'll probably end up on reality TV. But on November 22, Manny is going to beat the daylights out of him.
