I was hoping to catch this today but it seems that the show has been moved to friday 28th? It's a shame this promises to be a good card if all things go to plan or not! On Canelo vs Angulo I have trouble making up my mind on who will win. Canelo is over-hyped but he has a decent arsenal, can get into good shape and has the power to trouble opponents. Couple that with el perro's nature and the fact that his cut will not have fully healed by the night of the fight... we could be in for a good show! I think if the fight matches it's billling and we get a toe to toe war we might see a different side to Canelo (hopefully). I believe he has what it takes to be the mexican champ everyone hopes he will be but he needs to face some real adversity. Sure he thought mayweather but at that catchweight (or any other weight for that matter) he would not have won. By the time he reaches 50 fights, if he continues from now to fight solid opponents then he has the potential to fulfill those hopes and dreams that he and his fanbase harbour for him. However, I believe if he tries to outbox angulo - something even a boxer of Lara's experience and caliber had major trouble doing - then he has a very slim chance of success. Angulo unfortunately in my opinion for all the work that VH is doing with him his not an elite fighter and this will slowly come to light in the near future. Style's make fights and the no nonsense all attack puncher will get the slick boxer a few times out of 10. Canelo is no slickboxer so his chance is to fight fire with fire. if he uses his natural strength, the will of his team and his fans then I think he can beat angulo. One problem with showing little or no respect to your opponent is that you can get hit with a shot you don't expect your opponent to be able to throw and this is what I predict will happen to angulo. He will be the bull terrier and try to get his jaw locked onto canelo, and will get caught by a shot with more heat on it than he expected canelo to be able to throw. Looking forward to the premiere and the fight!
